Tropical Curry and Grill, A Hidden Gem in Austin’s Dining Scene. Austin is known for its vibrant and diverse food scene, but it’s not often you come across an Indian-Pakistani fusion restaurant that truly delivers an authentic taste. Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Tropical Curry, and I was absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the service and ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The space is clean, welcoming, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to unwind. The menu was packed with options, each one sounding more tempting than the last, so we decided to try a bit of everything. The food did not disappoint. The presentation was stunning, and the taste was incredible—each dish bursting with flavor and authenticity. What impressed me most, however, was the portion size. For such quality, the prices were more than reasonable—you really get a fantastic value for your money. Nali Nihari with some fresh Garlic Naan and the Afghani Karahi were my favorite All in all, Tropical Curry is a must-try for anyone looking to explore bold, flavorful fusion dishes without breaking the bank. I can’t wait to return!

The food was absolutely amazing! Umer knows the menu so well, paid detailed attention to our orders, gave us recommendations, and regularly checked up on us. The place was beautifully renovated, so get your cameras ready. This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be returning with a party in the future. I’m writing this review as I slowly slip into a food-coma.

I had such an amazing experience at Tropical Curry and Grill! The food was beyond delicious—every bite was packed with rich, authentic flavors that reminded me of the best Indian and Pakistani dishes I’ve had. The Nahari was an absolute standout—so tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. And the bread? Soft, fresh, and just the perfect companion to soak up all that goodness! What made the experience even better was Mr. Farhan’s incredible service. He was so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find someone who goes the extra mile to make sure you’re having a great time, and he did just that. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and great hospitality.

I ordered my food for pick up and it was finished cooking quickly and I was greeted at the door by the wonderful staff! The new look inside the restaurant is so cool and pretty! It is great for photos! I ordered- Beef Samosa Goat Dum Biryani Garlic Naan The food was absolutely SO delicious and so filling! I still have leftovers that will last a couple days! I am so so happy this place is open again! I can't wait to try the new menu!
