EXCELLENT QUALITY AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD. Me and my Husband meet in San Antonio once in awhile. This will be our new monthly spot! It is absolutely the best Indian food we have ever had. And we like to try new Indian food restaurants a lot. We tried their aloo gobi, butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, chicken Hyderabadi biryani, chicken samosas. Absolutely 10/10! If I could give it a higher rating, I would! I can’t wait to try more of my favorite Indian dishes here the next time I come!
We were traveling to San Antonio and looking for the best Indian restaurants when we came across a place with good reviews. To our surprise, they were offering a buffet at 4:30 PM. The food was fresh and delicious, with over 25 items to choose from, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The dosas and chutneys were particularly enjoyable. Overall, we had a great time and loved the food. We didn't take pictures of what we ate as we were starving by that time.
I ordered the shrimp Chettinad at a spice level of 3, and it was a delightful experience. The flavors were intense, with a subtle hint of sweetness that perfectly complemented the well-balanced spice kick. The naan was delightfully buttery, with the fresh garlic delivering a rich, savory flavor. It blended beautifully with the curry sauce, intensifying the overall taste. The veggie samosas were delightfully crunchy, while the potato and pea filling was perfectly soft and well-balanced. The combination of the crisp exterior and the tender interior created a genuinely satisfying bite.
Service was great and the taste was on point! The different spice levels offer something for everybody’s tolerance. We ordered chicken biryani, lamb biryani, and Tandoori chicken. Got some butter and garlic naan on the side as well. Even the water didn’t have that offensive taste that San Antonio is known for. Will definitely come back to try the other entrees.
Food was amazing! The service was just as amazing. They’re very kind and always checking on you. Super clean and amazing decor. MUST TRY THE BUFFET was worth the price! 04/13/24 Came twice this week and all 3 experiences were just as amazing! Food just gets better and better. You cannot beat the price. Great customer service and amazing food! Owner gave us goodies to try too! Coconut chutney was my favorite! the white one is peanut chutney!
The food was great. I ordered the goat biryani and the Shrimp Sukka. Both the dishes were spicy as I expected. If you like Andhra style food, you would enjoy this restaurant. I was driving from Florida and going to California. I stopped here to have my dinner. Couldn’t have timed it better. It was great. Highly recommend those 2 dishes that I tried.
I went around 5pm. The food tasted great and their's lots of varieties to choose from. The ace had plenty of seats and plenty of booths for parties of 4 or more. Customer service was what you expect it to be. Great! I had a good experience at this restaurant.
