If you like Indian food, don't walk, RUN to Curry Express Texas!! I have know the owner/chef for 20 years and followed them from their restaurant in Round Rock to their current location. I’ve traveled the US extensively and have eaten Indian Cuisine all over and NOBODY beats their Chicken Tikka Masala or Rice Kheer. Another favorite is the Lamb Korma with some garlic Naan. Enjoy crispy and flavorful samosas for a starter. Wash it all down with a delicious Mango Lassi. Service is fast and always very friendly. Sorry about the half-eaten food in the pics, couldn’t wait to dig in!!
My friend and I split the Chicken 65 and Saag tacos and had food to take home. The food is delicious, came out fast, and the painted picnic tables are clean. The tables have small umbrellas and are also under a big tree so they seating is nicely shaded. I highly recommend and I plan to return soon.
Ordered take-out from here several times. Have yet to try a dish we didn't enjoy. We really enjoyed Korma and Vindaloo dishes (with different proteins), and we've had at least two curries. The flavor profiles are excellent and the prices are reasonable. There are several picnic tables, but we've only ordered for pick-up.
We ordered from Curry Express Texas to cater for our daughter’s first birthday party and everyone loved the food! It’s really hard to find quality and delicious Indian food in south Austin/ Buda/ Kyle/ San Marcos area and we were so glad that we found Curry Express Texas. Special shoutout to the owner Logan who was genuinely helpful in helping us plan and deciding the menu and quantities to order. They have a special thoughtfully curated catering menu with a vast variety of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options to order from. Their dine in and takeaway menu items are also very good and we’ve ordered several times from them and have never been disappointed.
Enjoyed this spot on Mother’s Day! They offered us a free little dessert. Service was excellent and I loved my shrimp Biryani! I had enough to eat the next day and I did. I cannot wait to come back! My husband ordered the lamb tikka masala platter and he loved his too! The spot is really cute too. On this day the indoors area wasn’t open, but once they open it it will be even better!
The saag paneer tacos are my new favorite lunch. The gobi 65 and mango lassi are lovely. Great service. Beautiful outdoor seating with lovely tree in a convenient spot for South Austin
This is my second visit. We enjoyed this lovely weather under the colorful umbrellas of this cute little food truck. The food was well prepared and flavorful! You can tell they put care into their dishes. The man working was friendly and the food came out quick and hot! The butter chicken has me in a choke hold. So delicious. Big filling portions for a fair price. Will be returning again soon
