Sakoon Indian Fusion is an absolute gem! Their food is beyond amazing and brings me so close to home with its authentic flavors. The momos here are an absolute must try! I’ve had their chili momo, fried momo, regular momo, and jhol momo, and each one is bursting with flavor. During the summer, I love their chili momo for its spice kick, and in winter, the jhol momo is my go to comfort dish. Their naan selection is incredible, especially the cheese naan, which is rich, soft, and absolutely delicious. If you visit during the afternoon, their buffet is perfect for lunch, offering a variety of flavorful dishes.I also highly recommend their chili chicken, it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a balanced mix of spice and sweetness. And if you’re looking for an unbeatable combo, try their garlic naan with chicken tikka, it’s out of this world! Their sizzling kebabs are another standout, full of smoky, juicy flavor. Beyond the food, the ambience is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. The portions are generous and filling, making every meal satisfying. Whenever I crave Nepali or Indian food, Sakoon is my go-to restaurant!
Food and service were 10/10! The food is full of flavor and also really good portion sizes. I would definitely recommend and come back.
My favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore! Their food is so tasty and the prices are very friendly and affordable. The owners are really nice too! Update: If you are looking for a restaurant to have a casual birthday dinner with a big group of friends and eat really delicious food and feel special without breaking your wallet, this is THE PLACE TO GO 😍 We were a group of around 12 people which is quite hard to find a table in any restaurant tbh, but Sakoon was able to accommodate us at the center of the restaurant. Tysm 💕 Onto the food: DEFINITELY GET THE TANDOORI CHICKEN AND BUTTER CHICKEN AND CHANA MASALA. They are my favorite dishes from Sakoon. Tandoori chicken: Three giant chicken thigh + leg comes out on this hot skillet sizzling from the kitchen. The meat is so tender and juicy and the meat just falls right off the bone. How do you achieve that by grilling the chicken idk but sakoon can. The tomato? sauce that comes with the chicken on the side is AMAZING. I can eat that stuff just by itself lmao. Butter chicken: I love their butter chicken because the chicken is so tender and the sauce is so creamy and it just feels like home 🫶 Chana masala: An excellent dish with chickpeas, tomatoes and red onions? Sooooo good. It’s hot but I cannot stop stuffing myself with it and I am kinda a hater of chickpeas 😂 except for Sakoon’s Chana masala. AND YOU MUST GET GARLIC NAAN. It’s so fresh and hot and there are generous amounts of garlic on the top. For dessert, I recommend their gulab jamun. There’s some coconut pieces sprinkled on the top and it’s just sooo good. It’s kind of like mini donuts in sugar syrup that kind of crumbles apart and melts in sweetness in your mouth. Soooo lovely. I can eat more than two if I wasn’t so full from the entrees lol The lady taking the order was so nice too! Sakoon has one of the best service among dine-in restaurants imo. Using my friend’s scale, Sakoon is worth driving 3 hours for. Thankfully I live right across from Sakoon for now, but in the future , I am more than willing to drive 3 hours for food at Sakoon. Previous review: I have been going here for weekday lunch buffet which is from 11:30-3 pm Monday to Friday since 3 years ago. The buffet is self-serve and you walk in, tell them you are getting lunch buffet, grab a plate and start loading it with food. The buffet has a decent variety from tandoori chicken, chicken masala, potato fry, chili chicken, chicken biryani, couple curries, and couple vegetable dishes. With student discount it’s around $14-$15 per person which is such a GOOD DEAL. DID I MENTION UNLIMITED CHAI??? Their chai is soooo good that I wish I can bring a large biggest mug I can find and just fill it with their chai and drink from it all day. It’s the right amount of spicy and sweet and just ahhhh soooo good. I got the butter chicken from a dinner (there is no buffet during dinner, just ordering entrees) and the butter chicken was so delicious! And at first glance it seems like not much cuz it comes in a small pot but I had leftovers and was able to stretch them to two meals. Really good portions. Also make sure to get their garlic naan. It’s a must don’t question it.
The food tastes great and quantity of the food is also more. Mango lassi here is definitely one of my favourite drinks. Their chicken biryani and chicken chow mein noodles are good. They offered papad and naan/ pakoda for free every time we visited. The staff are polite and friendly.
The lunch buffet for $13.99 weekdays is so nice! You get a large carafe of filtered water, free heated Naan bread, free chair tea, free mango lassis, free dessert! As a vegetarian, the food is just superb and it has attractive colors on the walls! A real Indian gem and my favorite restaurant in Balto!
I enjoyed the food, great quality and great taste. I would recommend this place. If you are a foodie and love Indian food whether you are vegetarian or not, you will not be disappointed.
It was a bit pricey, but this is Baltimore. We got gobs of food & had to take at least half of it back to the hotel. The Tandoori chicken was exquisite. My wife had the chicken tikka masala and it was also wonderful.
