I love coming here! Everything that you eat here will be great, my personal favorites being Mysore Masala dosa, Hyderabad chicken biryani, all the appetizers, and vegetable curries. Place can be busy at times so expect wait time. I just hope I get to dine on the swing bench one day!
The experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious and brought back memories of home-cooked meals from India. The flavors were authentic and reminded me of the rich traditions of India. It felt like a little piece of home, right here in the US. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy some genuine Indian cuisine!
I visited this place twice till now and my experience has been good 😊 The food is great and the ambience is also better. I took Veg meals once and I loved everything they served in my plate and the taste is authentic as well. My husband took Mutton kurma and kaal dosa… and he loved it as well. Over all a good place to have homely food.
What a great find! I am not one to usually seek out a dosa place or go searching for Indian food when eating out with my parents, I actually rarely go for dosas, but this place was a genuine and exciting surprise. The staff was very friendly, warm, and welcoming- very attentive. We ordered the Papdi Chat, Dahi Poori, Masala Sosa and Amma's Special Dosa with onions, cheese, and chili filling The food was excellent; while driving by you could have easily missed this small place sorta smushed between bigger stores in this shopping complex, but we are glad we didn't. The food was authentic, excellently flavored, with what I think was the perfect amount of spice (which means for an Indian family it was enjoyable, we noted the spice and kick, needed a little rest and sips of our drinks, but it never overtook the meal; but if you dont handle or appreciate spicy foods, would ask them to try and tamper it ). The dosa was crisp and flaky, but the Samba and chutneys were the highlight for me - each bringing out very different notes and providing a specific and distinct flavor that jumped off your palate It is rare to find a place you would call very very authentic while at the same time a place I would not hesitate to bring someone completely new to or perhaps unfamiliar with Indian cuisine; it is a perfect introduction and accurate representation Definitely plan on returning often. I have after meal pics included in case you were unsure how much we enjoyed the food :)
I have dined-in here several times. If you are craving for authentic taste of South India, this is the place to be. There is no compromise in the spice level or taste. I like the ambience too. Staff are also polite and courteous.
Great place, Good atmosphere, Delicious and authentic food. The food in restaurant is as good as you get it in South India. Service is great and staff are friendly especially Vardhana made all of us feel at home. Perfect place if you are missing home food in NJ
We ordered the fish fry appetizer, and masala dosa and Tiffin combo for main course. Everything tasted fantastic and was fresh. Spice level was well balanced. Definitely recommend this place.
