Had a lovely time here with friends. Love that they can accommodate large parties. Food was excellent. Rice and naan portions are immense. Prime service! Our servers were attentive and charming. Would definitely come again.
First I must say, don't let the lack of people scare you off. It seems like the majority of their business is take out. We were the only ones in the restaurant who are there. I had the Lamb Tikka Marsala and it was fantastic. I ordered it medium/hot and the spice level was spot on, lots of flavor and spice without being too spicy. My wife got the Chicken Tandoori and it was excellent as well. Our server was friendly and helpful in making suggestions. I highly recommend trying it.
10 stars. Been in La 8 years. This is the best indian food. I used to drive 30 min to Mint Leaf in Pasadena but this place is better. Have been coming for a few months now. Faves are Matar Paneer, Chicken Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Keema Naan. Will not disappoint. Best for takeout imo.
Very little restaurant but elegant at the same time. The stuff was very nice and the food was very tasty, first time eating Indian food and definitely I like it. I will definitely will back.prices are reasonable but the only thing is than the meno doesn't have pictures.
My picky husband loves this restaurant. They’re consistent with their flavors and quality. The restaurant staff is attentive and friendly. The parking can be tight at times.
Very good to enjoy any food for any event ir any Family program, as well as one person or friends.
We've been in LA for a year and a half and the food here is so good I haven't tried any other traditional Indian restaurants in LA. We know we can always count on them to be great. I don't eat meat and my favorite dish is the matar paneer. My boyfriend usually gets the lamb biryani. The saffron rice is delicious, too. Nothing we've ordered has disappointed. Tonight our Postmates driver was running behind and they waited like 30 minutes past closing time to make sure we got our food. Very grateful! Highly recommend India's Clay Pit!
