5 Stars - Always a Delight at Aga’s! We’ve been to Aga’s Restaurant in Houston several times now, and it has never disappointed. It’s my son’s absolute favorite spot, especially for their legendary goat chops—hands down the best we’ve had anywhere! The food quality is exceptional—every single time. The taste, the freshness, the presentation—always consistent and up to the mark. That kind of consistency tells you how solid the management is; they’ve clearly set a high standard and know how to maintain it. What really makes Aga’s stand out even more is the amazing customer service. Whether it’s Hassan Bhai, Ali, Naureen, or any of the other staff members, every server greets you with warmth and takes great care of you throughout your visit. It’s the kind of place where the service makes you feel good, not just the food. Every item on the menu is worth trying—seriously, you can’t go wrong. And the best part? You leave feeling satisfied, not like you’ve been ripped off just because it’s a “trendy” place with a big-name chef. At Aga’s, you’re paying for genuine quality and heart. Highly recommended for anyone who values great food, outstanding service, and a restaurant that truly respects its customers.
One of the best Desi food spots in the Houston area—truly a gem for anyone craving authentic South Asian flavors. It had been a while since I enjoyed such a satisfying meal, and this place definitely hit the mark. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great variety of options, all reasonably priced without compromising on quality or taste. The karahi was rich, aromatic, and full of depth—a perfect blend of spices that really stood out. The chicken platter was equally impressive, featuring juicy, well-marinated pieces with all the right sides. And the chicken biryani? Absolutely spot-on—spicy, just the way we requested, and bursting with traditional flavors. Whether you're a longtime lover of Desi cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is definitely worth a visit. Edit: A special shout out to our server. She was exceptional (I forgot the name) and manager Jawaid, who reached out and made sure everything was great and gave great recommendations for our next visit.
First time trying Aga’s. I decided to try the BBQ Chicken platter with garlic naan and veggie samosas. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was soft and flavorful. The garlic naan was fresh and soft. The samosas were up to par with most indo-pak restaurants. I will be back to try some of the mutton and other chicken dishes.
This restaurant is by far my favorite restaurant to dine. The quality, cost, service all together are unmatched. It’s definitely my favorite restaurant in Houston. Managers Rizwan, Hasan, and Murtuza make you feel right at home and are amazing hosts and the hospitality is unreal. When you’re here, you’re family. This is a must go destination for out of towners. They also have a prayer area and everything is 100% Zabiha halal. My personal favorite items are: goat chops, chicken chaska boti, chicken lolipops, chicken makhani, black pepper chicken karahi, chaquoti beef kabob, peshwari goat karahi, malai chicken tikka breast and leg, mango lassi, mango shake and the mint lemonade! I’m drooling as I’m sitting here typing this.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Aga’s, and I have to give a special shoutout to the manager, Jawaid. From the moment we walked in, his professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—from our seating to the timing of the dishes. It's rare to come across such genuinely attentive service, and Jawaid made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. His hospitality truly elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend this place—not just for the food, but for the exceptional service led by Jawaid!
Everything here is top notch. The service especially. I cannot even give enough praise to the organization and seamless operations. Such amazing food and it all goes without a hitch. Even came here on Eid and was expecting it to be crazy but nope they did an absolutely spectacular job that day and every other time I’ve come as well. It’s good I don’t live in Houston because Agas would have me here every day. But yes extra extra praise to all the severs and everyone taking care of the tables as a whole. The care shows through every single one of you. This is how a restaurant should be run. Well done Agas. Signed, your nihari lover.
First time eating at Aga’s tonight. What a phenomenal experience. The wait time was approximately 10 minutes. We were taken to our table by manager Jawaid. Manager Jawaid took care of us from beginning to end. He recommended some of the best dishes in the menu and my God he was not wrong. Excellent customer service from all the staff, especially manager Jawaid. We ordered appetizers, chicken biryani. Chicken tikka masala butter on mango lassi you name it we had a feast and everything was excellent. Thank you, Mr. Jawaid for the detailed care and will be coming back because of your Sir and also the excellent food. Shukran !!
