Went here on a whim for dinner, with one other, what an Indian restaurant! The atmosphere, the food even the samandhi flowers decor, draperies and the old style pump faucets and gold painted brick walls in the restrooms reminded me of home. The service was impeccable. The food was just the right portions and perfectly seasoned. Just delish! Whoever thinks of making gulab jamun cheese cake! It was quite a blend. Or whipped paneer, so light and fluffy with boondi topping. This place is perfect for a date night!
I arrived at opening, 1100, and had the full attention of the whole staff. What a treat! Food was delicious. A southern staple of Shrimp and Grits with Maneet Chauhan's intelligent Indian cuisine flair. Place was getting very busy as I left. So glad I planned my trip around their opening time.
I have followed Maneet Chauhan on the Food Network for many years and she's one of my favorites. Because of this, I didn't think there was any way that her restaurant could possibly live up to my expectations. But in a word, it was truly amazing! What an experience. From the perfect naan bread with paneer whipped spread, to fall off the bone short ribs that were so big, I couldn't finish it, to the best old fashion I've ever had, this was an exceptional experience. My wife and I will definitely be back!!
If you're looking for authentic Indian masala, this is the place to go. The staff at this establishment are very friendly and attentive. They congratulate you on your achievements and pay close attention to your needs. Additionally, they serve food quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere of the place is excellent. It features standing tables and large booths, all within a connected area that includes a bar. The layout combines half booths and half tables, which is a nice addition. I also appreciate the color scheme, as it beautifully celebrates Indian culture. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.
Looking for excellent Indian food along with a couple of fusion twists and a lovely atmosphere? This place is exactly that and then some. Chef Chauhan puts out some phenomenal dish options that pairs traditional Indian recipes and flavors with seasonal ingredients that ultimately created flavor harmony throughout the meal. Authentically Indian? That's subjective, but delicious? That would be a concrete YES! Of particular note, the watermelon salad and goan curry mussels were both pretty to look at and yummy to eat. That salad was so cooling on a hot day. The goan sauce has such depth of flavor, it needs to be bottled and offered separately as well. The pomegranate raita is creamy and refreshing. The short rib is juicy and tender. Is this the cheapest place to eat? No, but then again quality costs $. Hard to go wrong here!
I’m surprised this spot is only showing as a 4.3 at the moment on google. My wife and I loved the experience. Service was thoughtful and she provided recommendations based on our questions Food was increasingly flavorful. Saag Mac and cheese is a must. Keeping this a simple review. But you should totally check it out
Amazing experience. I knew it was going to be a great meal with the wonderful smell of food the second we walked inside. Great helpful staff to answer questions. I'm a novice of this cuisine and the suggestions were on point. Pictures speak for themselves!
