Tried the cucumber salad and the lamb meatballs. The salad was so fresh and herby, loved the citrus fruits in it. The meatballs were perfectly spiced with a very balanced flavor. Herbey whipped ricotta and the perfectly spiced tomato sauce the meatballs came in were the perfect vehicle for the pita bread which was also fresh and crispy. I would absolutely go back to try some of the other menu items which were really calling my name! On top of that the service was great.
One of the best restaurant meals we have had in awhile. We felt really well cared for. The food was delicious and the chai cake is one of the best desserts I have ever had.My dessert pics were after transport home, they were prettier.
A part of the Hunters Station Restaurants, Turmeric and Co, this place is worth a visit. Flavorful foods, well presented and proportionally on point. Best food I have had in my Nashville visit so far!
We stopped by for brunch (offered on weekends from 11 am to 3 pm) and the food was outstanding. The egg biscuit sando with green chili and clove tomato jam was our most favorite, but the fry bread batura taco (southwest style, with refried beans, masala, queso, tomatillo chutney) and French toast (fennel berry coulis, whipped cream, lots of berries) were also excellent. That sando, though—perfectly cooked eggs, delicious biscuit, dose of heat from the green chili against the sweetness of the tomato jam. A great dish. Things were pretty busy, but the lone server/bartender/greeter held down the fort with impressive aplomb. The tepache was also great, with tons of funk. (If you don’t like kombucha and related fermented things, you will not like it.) We’ll be back. Just be warned that the Hunter Station wailing children quotient is pretty high at noon on a Sunday.
In Hunter's station, this Indian fusion spot brings a touch of flare with their gold flatware, and a pop of fresh spices. The butter chicken sauce on the tostada was so creamy, and we just ate most of the chunks of chicken straight off with a fork. The market salad was a nice size to go with small plates, we got it with lamb and the Indian ranch was a nice complement. But the cauliflower was the star, with that incredible spice blend. Do not miss this dish, it was so good. Another time I tried the lentil soup that was surprisingly spicy, with layers of dal-like flavor. Everything on the menu is a touch pricey, but the food is good enough to warrant the cost. Cocktail menu looked interesting, and I look forward to the outdoor patio in the spring. Love this spot, hope it sticks around.
The food was absolutely amazing! Every bite was bursting with fresh flavors, and the quality was top-notch. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into making everything. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Loved this spot! Indian fusion food. Forgot to take pictures of all the incredible dishes and cocktails we tried but everything was so top notch we just dive in and don’t look back! Haha. The staff were super friendly and crazy knowledgeable about the drinks and food they serve. Take their recommendations they know their stuff! We dealt mostly with Ocean and TJ, we had a great time and will def be back! Highly recommend the old fashion and the Bulliet Naan. The Bombay Bombas were next level phenomenal as were the meatballs!
