Wanted to sample another restaurant's Buttered Chicken Curry. I ordered it more spicy, and it was very good. I had to order my paratha separately, which was a little odd. This was only my second time trying the Buttered Chicken Curry, and the first place I went to the bread automatically came with my meal. Here they charge you $1.99 for the bread, but it was very, very good, so it was worth paying extra.
Food from the Kerala region of India which is coastal. It was FABULOUS! We love Indian food in general but this was a bit different in a wonderful way. So if you don't love a ton of curry flavors, this is a great way to get other flavors of India without just curry. My husband ordered a traditional Kerala dish of fish baked, Fish Mulakittathu, Its baked in a banana leaf. You can choose your fish. He chose Mahi Mahi. NO banana flavor just kept the fish moist. The topping on it, that it was baked in, was almost a hint of Thai flavor as far as a nice spicy savory, citrusy-herbal flavor. I don't like fish but I did try it and it was fantastic! I ordered a traditional dish common in Kerala- I think it was the Chicken Kurumulaku Fry. SO GOOD!!! We ordered a bottle of Dao to share, the price was only like a dollar more than buying it at the store. We had a glass each and then we took the rest with us (we were staying across the street at The Bike Inn) and sat around the fire finishing it. Service was great, such sweet staff. Super helpful in explaining everything. Restaurant was clean, decorated nice and TVs on travel channels which actually added to the feel in a good way. Portions were a good size, we had leftovers, which was fantastic the next day!
I've been here twice now!! both times, they've been able to be very accommodating to making substitutions for us, like low salt and making stuff dairy free or low salt. the staff is very friendly as well, and helpful, and the food is delicious. I really really recommend the mushroom chili from the vegetarian starters!! (second picture)
The waiter recommended a delicacy (vegetarian) not on the menu. The food is super tasty, and quick to serve. The ambience and seating is quite pleasant. I try to visit this place whenever I visit Bentonville. Must try!
I'm pregnant and was craving some butter chicken, so my mama took me here. BEST butter chicken I've ever had! Everyone was so unbelievably nice and made us feel welcome! Will definitely be back!
Vira's Indian Kitchen is a great place for authentic Indian food! The podi dosa and Mysore masala dosa were delicious and full of flavor. The dosas were crispy, and the spices were just right. The food tasted fresh and real. The place had a nice and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves South Indian food!
Authentic Kerala (South indian) food. Kerala Porotta & Beef fry a must have ! Biriyani was good, authentic Kerala style Really enjoyed the food a must go place !
