Extremely pleased with the food service and ambiance of Dhamaal restaurant. For the past 10+ my husband and I have been going to the Indian Square in Jersey city to enjoy some Indian food. We decided this time to tried Dhamaal and weren't not disappointed. The food was amazing flavorful generous portion and reasonable prices. We enjoyed the Jackfruit Curry and the Goat Ghosht. They customize the level off spiciness which is a great option. We also found the best Garlic Naan. The delicate and cruchiness of the dough with the garlicky butter just melted in our mouth. Oh and let me not forget the butter that we got at the beginning with our meal with little cubes of bread it was so so yummy! The ambience knocks off any Indian restaurant I visited in Jersey city. Very clean, vibrant, modern. The hanging flowers and umbrella gave the place a fun look. Our waitress DIYA was amazing! She was super friendly, kind,helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and the sauces. Having a great server like her makes a difference when you are dinning in. We'll definitely be back!

Let me start off by saying this place is absolutely beautiful! We came here for my friend’s birthday. The decor, the tables, the plating! Everything is very carefully thought out! Me and my party did have an issue in the beginning but the staff was very understanding and were able to accommodate us and change seating for us. Now for the most important part…the food. THE FOOD!!!! Guys the food was absolutely amazing. I mean the flavors were amazing in every dish. We all order different meals. For starters we got an appetizer (Rawalpindi Channa chaat) delicious. For entrees I got the homestyle chicken curry and my friends ordered the butter chicken & crispy branzino. All of them delicious. They even brought out desert to rectify the issue we had in the beginning. They made it clear they wanted us to enjoy our experience and to give them another chance! My friend enjoyed her birthday dinner & I’m glad we decided to stay!

Absolutely enjoyed my time here! The food was spectacular. Truly compliments to the chef! I treated my friend for her birthday and we had such an amazing time. Diya our server was super friendly and gave great suggestions off of the menu. I’ll definitely be back. 10/10 recommend!

I have been to many Indian restaurants in NJ but there’s something special about Dhamaal. It felt sooo good. Diya took excellent care of us<3. She’s got great personality and an amazing smile. The food was very delicious, surprised to see pizza making at an Indian restaurant. So we tried it and I felt, i will never miss Indian style pizza from now on…. Thank you so much!! Suggestion: Few more items can be added on the menu :)

Firstly, it’s BYOB. Secondly, have no fear, liquor store is across the street. Ask for Prapti at this place, she was phenomenal. She was patient with us and she helped us out tremendously as it was our first time at Dhamaal, and because of her and the food, I definitely recommend this place and I will be back with more of the family… I had such a great time! And being a DJ, the music is fire! First time having thumbs up soda too… love it!

I made dinner reservations for my birthday and they were able to accommodate my party of 17 comfortably. Everything went smoothly from making my reservation with the host along with giving me the option to choose which part of the restaurant we’d like to be seated. Overall, I had such a great experience from the ambiance to the staff. Food was also delicious and the attention to detail was * chefs kiss * … I will say there is no kids menu but they did accommodate the little ones with a yummy cheese pizza which I appreciated. I ordered the lamb chops with mash potatoes and it was also delicious, not to mention plated beautifully. Of course, gratuity was already included since we were a large party but they still treated us well and checked in on us often. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you for making my birthday a special evening.

Quirky, fun, beautiful spot with an exciting menu, colorful interior, and amazing service. We were so well taken care of by the staff, especially Diya! Every single dish was a whole experience, visually tantalising, fun to eat and share, and so fresh and delicious. Great spot for a date night, birthday, and even had room to accommodate larger parties. Can’t wait to come back here many many more times! (BYOB, but they have a whole list of funky NA cocktails)
