We were in Columbus for Thanksgiving, so I browsed the local foodies pages to find out which restaurants were open for the holiday. Dishoom had a Thanksgiving-themed menu, so we decided to give them a shot. Best Indian food I’ve ever had, hands down. The service was excellent as well. We ordered turkey samosas to start, which were hot and crispy. We also tried the scallops, which were perfectly cooked in a delicious sauce. The server encouraged us to try the tangy masala cauliflower, which were also fantastic. The turkey tikka masala and Ajwain Dosa were our entrees and we enjoyed both. The tikka masala sauce was the true star of the meal. I wanted to drink it with a straw. Overall fantastic meal. Don’t sleep on this restaurant.
Great customer service and excellent food. The goat dish is highly recommended; very tender and a nice portion. The lamb shank is extremely delicious; very tender meat and large portion. Would recommend the Mild sauce unless you just absolutely love Spicy food. The medium sauce was pretty spicy.
The food was amazing. The ambience was really good. Service was very prompt. I was driving back to Atlanta from Panama city and we were going to reach just 10 mins before restaurant closing time, i called them and requested if we order ahead then can we still come and dine in, they happily agreed for staying little late for us and made sure we get our food.Special thanks to their manager for being so kind.
Went for lunch on Christmas Eve 2024. Amazing food. Prompt friendly service. The decor is great, but the building itself has been around the block. We had the Chicken 65 appetizer, which was very good, a little spicy, and very flavorful. Salad was crisp, fresh, and chilled with mango ranch dressing. Lamb Tikka Masala was full of delicious spices, but not hot spicy, and the lamb was tender as butter. Also had the Chicken Korma. Also very good, although not as flavorful as the Tikka Masala sauce, although my dinner companion favored it. I'm so happy to have come across the gem and will definitely be back for more!
Great service and atmosphere. Serves a variety of unique dishes instead of your usual classic American-Indian restaurant food. The lamb chops were delicious
Excellent Indian joint. The staff are incredibly nice and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal. I've been twice so far and every dish I've ordered has been amazing (my favorite is the cauliflower app). I am always open to trying new things, but when we tried one of the desserts I did not like it at all (me preference, not a reflection on the quality or anything) and the owner spoke with us about it (origin, typical Indian preference, super knowledgeable) and removed it from our bill. I was more than happy to pay for it but it was a great gesture and again, this place is excellent all around.
This place is just fantastic! We didn’t know what to expect for our first visit here, but everything was awesome! The decor was upscale and the atmosphere was first class. The food was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor! We came during restaurant week, and tried several dishes. Our favorites were the Crispy Masala Cauliflower, the coconut curry with shrimp, and every single dessert they brought to the table. The wait staff was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back. We left with some full stomachs for sure!
