I brought my children here to experience an Indian buffet for lunch. For those of us who enjoy Indian cuisine, discovering a restaurant with authentic Indian delights can be clutch. My kids enjoyed their lunch and were pleased with the selection of dishes. We eat food from all over the world at home, and the children and I recognized many of the dishes and options. There were many dishes that we had not seen or tried before. There is something for everybody. Everything was properly labeled. The buffet was colorful, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. We enjoyed the music, television visuals, and the ambiance.
If I could give this gem of an Indian restaurant ten stars, I would! As someone who dines here at least once a week, I can confidently say they never disappoint. The food is consistently exceptional, and the service is always warm, attentive, and efficient—making every visit feel like coming home. The Butter Chicken is an absolute masterpiece—creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced, it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Pair it with their crispy garlicky Naan, fresh from the tandoor, If you’re craving Indian food that’s cooked with passion and served with heart, look no further. This spot is a must-visit I’ll be back next week, and every week after that!
I’m here traveling solo, although I lived here a long while back. I’ve answered the calling for crab cakes (twice), and Indian cuisine is always a good choice. I searched a bit and thought this place was my best option. I was met at the front door and taken to a seat of my preference. They quickly brought me a plate of papadum that were crispy and not oily. With a side of chutneys that were obviously made in house. I ordered - vegetable pakora - saag paneer - chicken korma - garlic naan - and a side of raita The pakora came out first, and they were hot and crispy. They were super flavorful and the vegetables starred as the highlight of the dish. Ok, I’ll speed this up: the naan was toasty on the outside and warm and fluffy inside. The korma was filled with large chunks of chicken in an airy cashew sauce. The saag was a deep rich green (as I prefer) and yet still quite creamy. And the paneer was the perfect texture that I’ve never been able to replicate at home. The raita was thick and creamy and a tiny bit sweet, the perfect counterbalance to the heat of the entrées. (I ordered medium so I wasn’t putting out a fire, but this raita could if it needed to) I love Indian food. I’ve enjoyed it from London to LA. My family and I even cook it at home. Not every restaurant I’ve been to is a gem, but Bombay Nights definitely is. The staff is endearingly friendly, the food was meticulously prepared and garnished… and it was delicious. If you’re ever near this place, please check it out. (There physical menu is awesome by the way, proof attached) Folks, if you _live_ near this place, also check it out… then you’ll see why I’d make it a regular spot. - maybe another day I will tell the story of 2 kind gentleman at a restaurant who introduced me to Taj Mahal beer
The best Indian restaurant in Perry Hall/Nottingham/Whitemarsh area. I recommend chicken or Tofu Tikka Masala and the Aloo Palak (spinach and potatoes). You won't regret it so delicious. Also, add the assorted bread basket. The staff very friendly and the place super clean. Highly recommended.
Best Indian food in the area! Very delicious and high quality ingredients. The spice levels are great and the base sauces are super flavorful. We had the Goan Chicken & Curry Goat. I would order both again but the Goan is finger licking good! The remodeled decor is also very nice and modern. I will be back to taste more dishes. Great job Bombay Nights!
Delicious chicken handi and lamb Baryani! Flavorful, tender , and aromatic. The service is also very good. Highly Recommend! 👍
Excellent lunch buffet! The food was tasty and perfectly spiced, The restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive. My favorite dishes were the goat curry and tandoori chicken. However the vegetarian dishes, appetizers and mint chutney were all excellent. The only item I thought needed improvement was the "Kheer" (rice pudding) which needed a little more sugar, some nuts and raisins to make it tastier. One final note: Even though the restaurant is named Bombay Nights, the chef and staff are Nepalese! Regardless, great experience. Definitely recommended 👍🏽
