This is by far the best Indian (Napalese) food in town. Never disappointed. Great service. Comes medium spice for everyone, but they will spice it up, if you would like. 5* hot will wake you up in the morning. Try them, yiu will not be disappointed.
I grabbed takeout from here one night while visiting Anchorage. They have a solid menu of classic northern Indian and some southern Indian dishes. I went with the goan fish curry -- very generous portion of sockeye salmon and good flavors. This had to be the first time I'd gone to an Indian place and not been asked how spicy I wanted my food, but there was still a good subtle amount of heat that probably wouldn't overwhelm most people, especially Indian food lovers. There's plenty else I'd want to try if I were a local. I've been to about 4 different Indian restaurants in Anchorage, and this was my favorite so far.
Litteraly the best spot for a mix of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. Every plate is exquisite and served with a smile. This is my third time going with my family and I just had to finally write a review. This restaurant has consistently exceeded my expectations and the staff is superb. The portions are big and one dinner easily fed two people and I love to eat. 5 stars and higly recommend even if you don't like Indian food you will start to love it! Try the Tandoori Chicken or the Fish Tikka, you can't go wrong!
Very good Indian food. The reviews and stars speak to the authenticity and good service. 8 people went and we all got different plates to share. It was all delicious. Highly recommend the butter chicken, with Naan. It had lots.of chicken in it and the flavor was spot on.
We came here around 8pm on a Wednesday. After a day of driving, it was time to finish the day with some warm food from the distant ancestors. I got the fish tikka that was cooked in the tandoor - absolutely killer, i loved it! Nice kick of spice in it. My friend got the daal and masala dosa. She said it was a bit on the heavier side and the butter was pretty strong. Overall a solid meal though, would come here again for the tandoor food!
Loved the food. It was delicious. The lamb Rogan gosh was simply delicious. The curry had the flavors of Lamb. But is too oily. Loved their chicken lollypop. They undoubtedly have the best chicken lollypops in US. Perfectly seasoned and amazing flavors. Loved the veg chowmein. Perfect flavors and portion size. Their gobi Manchurian was underwhelming. The pieces were not well seasoned and cooked. Overall loved the food. The ambience is good. The staff is courteous and good. There is ample parking. Definitely a good place to dine in.
I loved the food. I usually avoid vegan food but I really enjoyed our vegan dish. Spices were perfectly done. While I’ll give it 5 stars, I’m rounding up. The service was spotty - it took a few waiters to understand the order correctly. Water was not refilled often enough. BUT they were gracious and kind. Decor is fine. Kinda mid. Go for the food. Prices are fair.
