Small, more intimate place. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice selection behind the bar and menu in general. Will definitely go back when in area. Recommend this restaurant. Oh, ask how spicy...
I dined at this fantastic Indian restaurant, and it was an absolute treat! The Chana Masala was perfectly spiced, with a rich, flavorful gravy that paired beautifully with the naan. The Lamb Rogan Josh was another highlight—tender, juicy, and packed with authentic Kashmiri flavors. The Biryani had the perfect balance of fragrant spices and tender meat, making every bite a delight. As a starter I tried the Sweet Corn Soup, which was warm, comforting, and just the right consistency. Beyond the amazing food, the service was exceptionally welcoming. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great dining experience. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian food as well as the amazing service.
Top class food and service! We ordered a variety of dishes and sides. All dishes were bursting with flavour. The service was top class, very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for top tier quality Indian food at a great price. Note: There is a drinks menu with various wines, beers and cocktails even if this doesn’t show on the website.
We had the vegetarian food in New York city and that too with Indian taste and satisfaction. We ordered paneer tikka masala which comes with complimentary rice, Butter Naan and Lachha Paratha. The taste of the food was very delicious and quantity was fulfilling. On the top of that they complimented us with Kheer. The ambience is very soothing with Hindi songs in the background. You will feel, as if you are in India. Thank you!
Such a wonderful experience! I can't say enough about this place. The staff were more than attentive, and very pleasant. The waiter was good about making a recommendation and asking what heat level we wanted. The garlic naan melted in our mouth, and we ordered some extra to go after tasting it. The chicken tikka masala is the best that I've tasted. The chicken madras was good too. The decor was warm and inviting, and the bathroom was clean and pleasant. We don't live nearby, but I can definitely see us ordering some take out on my way home from work on days we don't want to cook.
This place is an easy 5 star. The food is delicious and the service couldn’t have been friendlier. Ordered samosas to start things off and was totally satisfied — very flavorful with the perfect crispiness on the outside. The mango lassi is a must. The butter chicken was hands down the best Indian dish I’ve had in the city! I normally go for a tikka masala, but I liked the butter chicken more than the chicken tikka masala we ordered (which was still good). The chicken came shredded and was so tender, swimming in curry of a rich flavor and spice. It really was incredible. I’ll be coming back for it! Not to mention the garlic naan, a perfect complementary to any curry. The Tandoor Chicken had a unique flavor I’ve never tried before, I liked it. Go for the rice pudding as a refreshing dessert to cool things down. Overall, highly recommend Spice Mantra for quality Indian food, friendly service, and a calming atmosphere!
This was on of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in the US. The chicken Tikka masala was amazing as well as the chicken korma. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good food.
