Writing a review for Priya lunch buffet because I don’t see any recent reviews for it. As soon as you enter this restaurant you can tell that there are a lot of options waiting for you. I was seated fairly quickly because I got there early after the buffet started. For a buffet with the price I paid, I am giving this 5 stars. The options are plenty for vegetarians and non veg diets. From chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, fish curry, goat curry to butter paneer and vegetable biryani. You can definitely hit your protein goal here. The staff is very attentive and would refill our water before it even ran out. The place is clean and open. It is in a basement so there is a lack of ventilation but, I took off only one star in the atmosphere category because of that. There were three dessert options which were traditional and also flan if you want something different. Overall a really good experience with great staff and good food. The buffet is weekends only I believe but they don’t make you feel rushed.
Some of my Indian friends snob on Priya, but my wife and I love it and have been there many times, including with Indian friends. Most of the guests are Indian. Yesterday we got Chicken Chennai and the baingan barta (eggplant) appetizer. They were delicious and the portions were large. We like spicy, so we ordered medium heat, which was just right for us. (Hint: If you ever get Indian food that's too spicy for you, just ask for a cup of RAITA. It can soften any spice.). We also got Kadhari naan, which is my kryptonite. The only small issue for Priya is the parking and the fact that it's downstairs with no windows. It's not particularly romantic but it's nicely decorated.
I tried chole bhature The taste was good 😊, But the mango lassi taste is not as expected 😔.
I visited Priya Indian Cuisine for dinner on a Thursday night. The ambiance is pleasant with authentic Indian décor, though I wish there were windows. The Indian music enhances the atmosphere. The service was excellent, with friendly servers accepting Apple Pay. While the food took a bit to arrive, it was worth the wait! I tried the Murgh Tikka Saag, delicious and authentic, a bit spicy for my taste, but my spicy tolerance is low. I highly recommend it and plan to return soon!
We regularly go there. The food quality is consistent! Never disappointed us.One of the best Indian restaurants around Lowell!
Priya may look unassuming but is truly a gem. If you catch the buffet you can enjoy a wide variety of delicious dishes. Elsewise I always order a goat dish- always tender and wonderfully spiced.
I love love love South Indian food. This place did not disappoint. Everything we ordered... dosa, sambhar, chutneys, fluffy idlis so good!! The hakka noodles were delicious. Did not need any gravy with it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
