India House Spokane is solidly very good Indian food! Every item ordered was a hit with aromatic flavor and textures that make this restaurant a Spokane food destination. Try the Paneer Pakora appetizer to get the meal started. The Lamb Boti-Kabob’s meat was tender and superbly seasoned, arriving at the table sizzling on an iron skillet. If you like chicken pot pie flavorings, try the Vegetable Korma, it dances with smooth flavors. The Butter Chicken, and Vindalo were serenely flavored. Chili Naan flatbread was tender and paired well with everything! Above all, there is a pervasive tone of love that seasons the food. If you’re ready to fall in love again with exotic food, this place welcomes you!
10/10. Everything we tried was delicious. This is a great Indian restaurant. Very flavorful. Good friendly service. Definitely had some heat even on 2/5 spice level. Would recommend!
Walking in I was impressed with the delicious smell! The food was fresh, fast and very tasty. They accommodated nicely for our little one and quickly had a high chair ready to go. I’m very picky with Indian food and India House became one of my new favorites! I would highly recommend it.
My daughter husband and I eat here frequently and even doordash it on lazy days and it is phenomenal everytime. My husband and I love when its extra spicy and they provide! The gentlemen who give us service are always sweet and kind and have great manners.
Tonight my friend Jenna and I tried the India House on the South Hill for dinner. Let me say, it was wonderful. We really liked the way it felt, the minute we walked in. It was a lot bigger on the inside than we had thought. It’s clean and the booths have tall walls so you have a sense of privacy. I ordered tomato soup to start. It was a very rustic soup. Not creamy, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely get it again. I even dunked my garlic naan in it, it was perfect. For our meals, Jenna and I both ordered the Fish Tandoori. It was a very good sized portion, there was plenty leftover for another meal (or two). We also tried their Garlic Naan. It was not chewy, it was light and flavored very well. I also brought home Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Boti, Raita, Naan, and Garlic Naan. Their prices are reasonable. We liked our visit and will come back to try their lunch buffet.
So glad we happened to change our plans to try the place instead of another restauranf! What a wonderful experience, the food was delicious and the service was awesome. The restaurant had a calm, pleasant atmosphere, with beautiful decor. We were seated right sway in booths with plush cushioned seats, which we appreciated. There were other people in the restaurant but it did not feel crowded because of the privacy layout of the seating. We ordered a chef special for an tasty appetizer which was vegetarian. We ordered korma chicken and goat biryani for our main dishes. We loved them both, so flavorful. The garlic naan bread was good and our entree portions were generous, as was the appetizer. We also loved having leftovers to enjoy again at home.
I’d been craving Indian food and am glad that I tried this new place! Food was delicious! Lunch buffet was $17.99+tax. They’ll give you a receipt with QR code to pay. It only works with iPhone and ApplePay. I’ll definitely go back there again!
