Chai pani is an institution for great Indian street food. I am never disappointed with Chai pani I love their food and ambiance. The restaurant maintains the name and quality any time you visit they have great service and best quality food. I have been visiting chai pani for more than 6yrs never failed anytime. I love all their dishes and hospitality.
Went for the lunch buffet with a friend, the food was the best Indian food I had ever eaten in my life. Better then the Indian food I ate in London ( you know they say London has the best Indian restaurants) Sam was the host in the front of the restaurant and treated my friend and I with the upmost hospitality. Id recommend this place to any and everyone wanting Indian food.
We love coming for the weekend brunch/lunch. The food is warm and fresh, and delicious every time. My wife and I love the mini crispy uttapam with coconut chutney, the kale pakoras, the chaat station, and the punjabi entrees. The unlimited chai is a huge plus. Quality buffet at a reasonable price.
Chai Pani in Decatur is a must-visit for Indian street food enthusiasts. The Vada Pav offers a delightful spicy kick, while the SPDP (Sev Potato Dahi Puri) bursts with sweet, tangy, and crunchy flavors. The Bhel Puri is a perfect blend of textures and tastes. The vibrant atmosphere and attentive service enhance the dining experience. Highly recommend these dishes for a flavorful adventure!
This place is a gem !! The lunch buffet was delightful, there was a nice selection of options and it was all delicious. The included chai tea option is nice and authentic cuisine. Price and atmosphere were also both notably good
The food was absolutely amazing!! We ordered the butter chicken, somoas, and the okra fries! The butter chicken was amazing but next time we go back I think we’ll just order tapas. I would also come check out the lunch buffet sometime to try more things! We sat on the patio and it was nice and warm with all the heaters. The inside had a 45 minute wait. But there was no wait for the patio. We actually wanted the outside too!
Loved the paani puri you can have as you wait for a table. They also have water as you wait. I’ve never been to a place that offers this: simple touch, but memorable! The butter chicken was the most vibrant I’ve ever had. The naan was also perfectly cushiony and crispy at the same time. I love that they have a variety of nonalcoholic drinks and a kids menu! The paneer is served a little crispy and that is such a great touch. The decor is on point. My only critique is that the music is far too loud and makes it difficult to have conversation.
