Visited Punjabi Rasoi for the first time and really enjoyed it! The place was packed on Saturday evening around 8 PM, but we were seated in less than a minute. It’s a BYOB spot with a casual vibe, though the service was a bit on the slower side. While the name suggests modern Indian dining, we didn’t really find anything particularly modern — it felt more traditional, which we actually liked. We tried the Aloo Crispy Chaat (a tasty aloo tikki-style chaat), loved the dhaba-style chicken curry, and the Amritsari Dal, which was rich and creamy like maa kee daal or dal makhni. Overall, the food was flavorful, the ambience relaxed, and it’s definitely one of the better Indian food places in New Jersey. Would love to come back again!
I have been here twice and both times have been incredible meals. The quality of food here is excellent and the service is always friendly and warm. Definitely get their maska chaska beet root tikki it’s one of my favs! They have an amazing variety of curries here and the brownie sizzler is a MUST! 😍
Fantastic food and ambience at Punjabi Rasoi!! You feel like you’re relaxing at home and someone is bringing you delicious food!! You are not rushed to leave, the waiters are then when we needed something but you never felt rushed. Great night out!!
Delicious food! The staff is super friendly and everything came out at the right times. We had a mix of vegetarian and chicken - everything tasted fresh and the flavors were just right. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful dinner here with my wife and friends after a long time, and the food and service were truly excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and, of course, the food.
Great good and great service, don’t miss out on their Soya chap and Sarson ka saag, finally best of all Lal Maas (a traditional Rajasthani mutton dish) that was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!!!
I highly recommend Punjabi Rasoi for a family dinner! They have a great variety of veg and non veg options. The atmosphere was lovely and made for a memorable night! We got the following and loved all of it: Paneer Lababadar - must get Paneer Tikka Masala - must get Saag Paneer Smokey Baigan Bhartha- must get Veg kolapuri (spicy)- and it was spicy Garlic Chilli Naan
