Aromas of India

This is the best Indian that I’ve had in San Diego. And they serve Dosas! The Dosa Man in New York would be proud of what they’re serving up! We also had the Rogan Josh and Saag Paneer, both of which were excellent. Top it off with great service and I will definitely be back! La Mesa’s best restaurant, period.

Went here for the first time tonight. It was very yummy. I started with the lentil soup which was good. The garlic naan was a delight. I ordered the ginger chicken kabob which came on a nice bed of veggies. The veggies were very fresh and crisp. One note is the chicken was not very warm, not sure why, but the chicken came with a sauce on the side and overall had a nice mild ginger and tomato vibe with fresh herbs. The dish comes with plain rice. My husband ordered the chicken basil coconut curry and really liked it. I tasted it as well. It was very warm/sweet cozy dish. He ordered 3/9 for spice, and I did not really taste much spice so you can probably order with a higher number than you think. We will definitely be back.

Delicious Indian cuisine and excellent service. We had chicken tikka masala and it was mild as requested and it’s served with basmati rice. We also enjoyed tandoori chicken, which was yummy dark meat. The plain naan was the perfect complement to the tikka masala sauce. The artwork is quite interesting (see pics) and the prices were reasonable. There is also an outdoor patio for special occasions. We will return the next time we are in the area.

We had an amazing dining experience at Aromas of India! The Jain food options were exceptional, prepared with great care and authenticity. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming ambience, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Plus, the convenient parking made the visit even more enjoyable – highly recommend this place for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine!

Finally, a great Indian place with a luxury feel. I ordered the lamb curry, with a side of chilli's and onions and garlic naan. I haven't had good lamb curry like this in a long time. Very delicious authentic recipe. The atmosphere is so pretty and peaceful. The servers are so helpful and attentive. Menu exhibits authentic food from Nepal, Punjabi, and South Asia. The chefs in the kitchen are all south and central Asian. I love to see that.

This place is such a beautiful gem with phenomenal food in SD 💎 We tried the chicken tikka masala as well as the lamb tikka masala another time, which I loved even more! We also really enjoyed the veggie korma and cheesy nan that was baked to perfection! 👌 The atmosphere is very relaxing and wonderful to be in, and service is always great. Thank you all for your incredible food and customer service! We'll keep coming back here!

Wonderful place to enjoy India food. Beautiful setting overall inside the restaurant, staff are very professional, food quality high standards, service excellent. Definitely recommend everyone. If you like to try out 🇮🇳 n teste of food, don't miss out this in San Diego.
