It's a simple place but the owners are friendly and my dish was killer! I'm a chili head and I always ask for Indian food super spicy. THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE TO NAIL IT! The flavor was great, and the heat was hot!!! I will be going back! Check it out over the other places in the area as the casual give us cool and the really is great, at least my spicy chicken biryani was!!!
We really loved our dinner at 21 Biryani, an Indian restaurant in Agoura! The food was super tasty and full of authentic flavors, and you can tell they use real fresh ingredients. We ordered the vegetarian paneer which had a nice kick to it and the vegan rice biryani. Our top favorite dish was the butter chicken curry, which was made with soy chicken, and was super addictive. The staff and owner were very friendly and took the time to explain the dishes to us. We also had the bread pudding dessert warmed up with ice cream, which was DELICIOUS! I've had takeout from here several times before, but this was the first time dining in! Even though they have a lot of meat dishes, this is a great dependable spot for vegans and vegetarian foodies like us!
The biriyani here tastes like it came out of a kitchen in India. It's phenomenal. If you are looking for authenticity - look no further.
If you like Indian food, this place is an absolute sublime. The food, service and CONSISTENCY is unparalleled. It's a challenge to decide on one from the menu. If pictures speak louder than words, a bite will take you a notch up. Try one of these Goat Pepper, Hakka Noodles and Egg/Chicken Fried Rice. They can't go wrong!!
If you are looking for Authentic Andhra food, this is the place. They share the same space with Szechuan place, Agoura Hills. Even though there are few tables for dining at the restaurant, to me it appeared more like a to-go place. Talking about the food, they serve the best Biriyanis in the area (The chef is from Bawarchi, Topanga canyon Blvd).
This is one of the best authentic places to get Biryani in the Thousand Oaks/ Agoura area. Love their Shrimp roast biriyani and Gongura biriyani. Their party tray packs are also awesome. You may need to call and reserve the trays 3 to 4 days in advance.
Awesome little spot for very delicious food. The portions are very big. The chicken dishes are fantastic, the flavor goes all the way to the middle of the pieces.
