I’ve eaten here a few times with my family and we all love it. As a Nepali person, this tastes as authentic as you can get outside of Nepal. Our server Amrita was very kind, attentive to our table, and quick to bring our food. Prepare your taste buds for a kaleidoscopic spectrum of tastes!
My first time here and the server Amrita was very welcoming and kind. The food was delicious and full of flavor. Ordered medium for the spice level and personally was too spicy for me 😭 very delicious tho so just a heads up for those ordering medium spice. She was very sweet and offered us rice pudding to ease the spice. Will be coming back for sure, the samosas make me excited for next time:) coconut curry 10/10 chicken biryani 8/10(only cuz it was very spicy 😫) Garlic naan 10/10
Himalayan grill restaurant is really good. I like the way, they set up their restaurant, neat and clean. The name of the restaurant match the vibe inside of the restaurant. The food, the decoration, and the outside view of the ocean is really relaxing. We ordered and dine so much in that restaurant, that we can’t even think about the other Nepali& India restaurant in California. Inside of the restaurant feels like restaurant from Nepal. There is lot of things that I wanna say about this restaurant but these line can describe the restaurant very well 🥰🥰.
The food is always amazing! Amrita has great customer service! Definitely one of our favorite spots!
We ordered goat curry, Alu paratha and chicken mono. One of the best momo I tried ever. Service was so good. Specially Amrita was friendly and attentive 🙂
This place is in a gorgeous location and has amazing food. Sunsets here are so special. Appetizer plate is great. Samosa and fried veggie patties are topctier. Extra chicken and steak protein is always appreciated. Chicken Momos are life changing. Dumplings with a deep flavor. They fill you up fast. Again, a lot of protein. Butter chicken and naan stand out as some of the best I’ve had. Just be careful don’t order too spicy. I did and the server was laughing at me and asking me if I was okay. They kept the waters filled though!! Service is very good. Usually the same two servers working there. They’re friendly and know their regulars well. Atmosphere is great. Nepali/ Indian music but not too loud. Screens of scenes from Nepal. Beautiful marina setting. Dinner ware is cute too. Boat themed. Overall amazing place. Hidden in a corner. Wish more people would try it
We went for my grandpa’s birthday and the food and service was immaculate!! Amrita was our waitress and she did an amazing job!! We had an amazing time, I highly recommend going!!
