Yummy Indian restaurant with nice ambience. The menu has lots of yummy options including vegan and gluten free. Service is limited. The staff is friendly and will allow you to sit wherever you like. Only indoor seating is available. At every table there's a QR code that's used to see the menu as well as pay. Food is freshly prepared and came out quick. Lots of free self parking.

One of the good place to grab Indian food in Irvine. Good to dine in and take out. Little pricey and servers sometimes have preoccupied minds (in my opinion, others consider arrogance) while serving. Lot of variety and I believe chefs try to get original taste. So overall good place to have Indian food.

An ethnic ambiance, very nice and polite waiters, very delicious Indian food. We tried Masala Dosa, a very thin and crunchy rolled crepe with potato mixture in the middle, Ulvacharu Biryani (medium, hot enough), a very tasteful spicy hot Biryani, and chicken Tikka Masala (mild, totally fine) with very rich taste of spices and chicken! We tried Ulvacharu Biryani, but it was too spicy for us and we asked our waiter to change it with Chicken Tikka Masala for free. And of course Mango Lassi is our drink, and it was exactly enough sweet.

Southern spice is a quarter Indian restaurant that has some of the best Indian food in town! The service was amazing but the food came out just a tad bit slow. The food was fresh and there were many options to choose from. Finally, the surroundings of the restaurant is very ambient and pretty. ( they also have great prices)

Excellent tasty food. Good service. We had eaten there a few times and also catered twice. Every time it came out great. Price is reasonable Recommend this place for great Indian food. Update: June 2022 We got a catering service for a party at home. The food was excellent and have enough for everyone

Nice place, Nice taste and Nice service. I ordered vada and Masala Dosa it was awesome, the coconut chutney and sambar taste was good. Last time I had a 70mm dosa(3.5 to 4ft) , kids liked it a lot. I ate at nearby many restaurants but this restaurant food taste is something unique.
