Hidden Gem on Route 130 – Fantastic Food, Modest Ambiance We recently decided to try out a new restaurant that opened in a nearby town, located right on Route 130 North. From the outside, the place has a rugged, unassuming look—not posh by any means—but it was clean and inviting. Upon entering, we noticed a buffet in progress, offering unlimited dosa, idli, puliyogare, and more. However, we opted for à la carte dining and brought along a couple of wine bottles, as this place is BYOB. The service was handled entirely by a single waiter, who was very pleasant and accommodating. It seemed like they had staffed lightly, likely anticipating most guests would go for the buffet. We decided to indulge in appetizers, enjoying them with our wine, and go easy on entrées. Our choices turned out to be excellent! What We Ordered: Gobi 65 – A deep-fried cauliflower dish that was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The seasoning had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess, making it a fantastic start to our meal. Chilli Paneer – The paneer was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, yet soft inside, coated in a flavorful Indo-Chinese sauce. It had just the right level of spice and heat, pairing wonderfully with our wine. Punugulu – These little golden, crispy dumplings made from rice and urad dal batter were a delightful surprise. They had a crunchy exterior with a soft, airy inside and were served with a delicious chutney that complemented them well. Karivepaku (Curry Leaves) Potato Fry – A real standout! The potatoes were sliced perfectly, crispy on the edges, and infused with the earthy aroma of curry leaves. The seasoning was spot on, delivering a delicious combination of spice and crunch. This dish was one of our favorites! Muttai Mass Spicy – This dish packed a punch! A bold, fiery preparation of eggs tossed with onions, chilies, and an intense spice mix. The flavors were robust, and it had just the right amount of heat, making it a perfect companion to our appetizers. Masala Peanuts – This dish was decent but could have been better if the peanuts were fried a little longer for extra crunch. While it didn’t pair well with our wine, it surprisingly complemented the yogurt rice very well, adding an extra layer of texture and mild spice. For the entrée, we kept it simple: Yogurt Rice – This comforting dish was creamy, well-balanced, and had a cooling effect after the spice-laden appetizers. The star of the show, however, was the pickle served alongside it—it had an incredible depth of flavor and added a punch to each bite. Omelettes – Light, fluffy, and packed with herbs and spices, these omelettes were perfectly cooked and paired well with our yogurt rice. To finish, we indulged in dessert: Double Ka Meetha – Simply superb! The bread was beautifully caramelized, soft yet slightly crispy, and soaked up the syrup perfectly. The only minor flaw was that the sauce was a bit watery, but the flavors were absolutely delightful. A fantastic way to end the meal! Final Thoughts: Food: Simply excellent—every dish was well-executed and delicious, with the exception of the masala peanuts, which could have been crispier, and the slightly watery sauce in the dessert. Service: Average, mainly because there was only one waiter handling the entire restaurant. Ambiance: Basic, but it worked for us, offering the privacy we needed. Price: Reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food. Overall, this spot is a hidden gem for those who prioritize great food over fancy décor. We’ll definitely be back for another round!

For many of us longing for that traditional wedding feast served on a banana leaf, a visit to The Park Indian Restaurant is a must. The feast is served just like weddings back home with so many veg and non-veg dishes and most importantly with such warm hospitality that one feels like part of the family. It would be an injustice to pick a top dish because each one is a star in its category. Unlimited food at such an affordable price! We will be returning every time this fabulous feast is offered.

If you’re craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine, look no further than Park Restaurant. This place truly stands out for offering some of the best Indian dishes in town. Every dish is crafted with rich spices, fresh ingredients, and traditional techniques that capture the essence of Indian cooking. From the perfectly spiced biryanis to the creamy butter chicken and the variety of freshly baked naan, each item on the menu is a delight. The vegetarian options are equally impressive, especially the paneer dishes and dals, which are both hearty and full of taste. Their use of authentic spices adds a depth of flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, the quality remains consistently excellent. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy top-quality Indian food. Park Restaurant is a true gem for lovers of Indian cuisine!

5 Stars – A Consistently Fantastic Experience! I’ve visited The Park three or four times now, and every single visit has been excellent. The food is always delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of—it truly feels like dining among friends. Great food, warm hospitality, and excellent value for money make The Park one of my favorite spots. Highly recommended!
