Delicious Punjabi Food π± Great service, They server food very fast. Once you order food with in 10min your food will be ready super fast service. One thing, location is hard to identify for new costumer.
The food was amazing! Super flavorful, filled with spices. Genuine authentic Indian food in the middle of rural Missouri. Before going you should take note it is a truck stop, and the owners are Indian immigrants & ESL. Some other reviewers seemed to expect a five star Michelin chef experience at what is literally a truck stop on the side of the highway. Also, the food is family style though you can of course order your own entrees, though Iβd recommend getting different dishes to try and splitting them with friends. The quality and deliciousness of the food is top tier, and I would definitely recommend.
Amazing chicken biryani portion with lemon wedge, fresh red onion, and very generous container of accompanying plain yogurt. Great samosas and tea. Must visit π
Good Indian food on highway truck stop. Must try mutton curry and roti.
Awesome food. Nice guys. This is a must stop placeπππ
Chicken biryani came out within probably 7 minutes, piping hot, HUGE portion with lemon wedge, fresh red onion, and very generous container of accompanying plain yogurt. The meat was tender, well spiced, just watch out for multiple bones! Also got some kheer pudding and several cold beverages. You have to consider the tall billboard-like sign as their sign. There are no signs on the rustic wooden building itself (Looks like from older pictures there was a neon(?) sign on the roof in the past, but no more). Definitely worth the stop.
The place used to be the best Indian food we've had in the entire country. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped, there are limited options on the menu, the portion sizes have reduced drastically and the prices don't justify one bit. It's disappointing to know the one place you loved so much and would travel almost 4 hours for has dropped so much in terms of what it once used to be. The person at the counter is very friendly, but that alone isn't your saving grace. Discomfited! Edit: The place has new management and we gave it a shot one more time. It has definitely gone back to being phenomenal. The butter chicken was very creamy, well seasoned, and slightly on the sweeter side for what we are used to. Also, the oil/butter used was a lot. We poured out so much and yet when we served ourselves in our plates there was a pool of oil in it. Wish I'd taken a picture of the container in which I poured out the oil. Anyway, we also got the goat curry and that was insanely delicious. The meat was tender, had the perfect seasoning on it and the gravy tasted amazing with the cumin (zeera) rice they served and the tandoori naans we already had. Hoping the place remains just as good as we had this time after a long long time!
