Stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday. They dropped off a basket of papadum and some chutneys before taking my order. The sweet chutney and mint chutney were both great, but I wasn't a huge fan of the tomato and onion one. The chunks were a bit too large to easily work with the chip-like papadum. I went with lamb in a spicy tomato and chile base curry, I think the menu called it Karahi. I ordered it Indian hot; it was spicy, but not burn your face off hot, more of a slight perspiration level of hot. It came with a bowl of basmati, a bit more than needed for the serving size. The lamb was good, though there was a lot more curry than meat. I also put in an order of paratha. It came out quite large and very thin, with nice flaky layers and texture to the dough, with a nice whole wheat flavor that wasn't overpowered by the ghee. I usually only see naan and maybe roti as options at Indian/Nepali places, so I was excited to try their paratha. By far, the best Indian flat bread I've had in Colorado. I would come back just for the paratha. Overall, I'm happy I tried this restaurant. Denver doesn't have much choice when it comes to Indian food, so it's nice to know there are more options if I drive a bit. I'll try the vindaloo next time and see if their version of a classic South Indian dish can hit the hotness levels I'm hoping for. Worst case, I get to eat that paratha again.
Omg!!! We got a little bread thing in the beginning , and rice pudding for desert. Felt like a king a queen. The food was spicy af but the rice pudding cooled my tongue down. We ordered DoorDash and it was also solid from here. The beer (flying horse ) is .49 cents cheaper for two but you get 2 less ounces… drink if you dare.. .a family stopped us and said this place was baller after we went to Panda across the way (big mistake) so we had to come back and try it, it’s the bees knees 10/10 would recommend.
We went in a group and shared 6 entrees. Every dish was perfectly prepared and excellent! Our server was very nice and liked by all. I have eaten Indian food at many restaurants and rate the Taj Mahal as the absolute best!
This is a great local restaurant with amazing service. But the food? I had the Chicken Saag and it was the best I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned like nothing I've ever had. The best Indian food I've had. You must try this place!
I always have ordered take out from here and they never miss! Amazing masala, butter chicken and curries. Prices seem to be in line as other Indian locations in the area but quality is way better. Love this place!
This place is one of the best Indian food places I have been too! The inside of the restaurant is very clean and the waiters were very nice and insightful. I ordered samosas and they were amazing topped off with the sauces they had brought on the side. The mango ice cream was amazing and great for a hot day. I would recommend this family friendly spot to anyone and I will definitely be returning!
I ordered the Chicken Biryani for delivery, and it was the tastiest I have had in a very long time! It had a nice presentation being colorful, great portions and tons of flavor. Looking forward to dining in sometime and trying out other dishes
