I stopped and tried the lunch buffet. Great deal for $15, includes appetizer vegetables and naan, salad, many options of dishes, and a dessert. Rice was perfect. Garlic naan was amazing! Slight crisp on the edges, yet so soft and warm inside. Chicken Tikka Masala, the white person's favorite Indian dish: this was beautifully prepared. It has large shredded pieces of chicken rather than cut chunks. The sauce had a welcome addition of saffron which gives it a richness to enjoy. There was of course a dal dish and a palak, but I didn't find the paneer in the spinach. Perhaps others emptied it out already. Everything was delicious. Service was great. They answered questions and asked if I needed anything. They helped me choose a to go order. I ended up with buffet to go and scoop a little of everything. Parking is plentiful.
First time coming here. My family loves Indian food so we had to visit this place. We were greeted warmly and welcomed in. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon so there was a buffet available. The host walked over and told us what each dish was. There was vegitarian dishes, chicken dishes and goat and fish dishes. Such an amazing variety of foods to try. I got a little of each and each dish was delicious. The garlic naan was so yummy. Fluffy and perfectly crispy on the outside. The guy in the kitchen was singing and happy and it made me smile. We were told the menu selection changes daily on the buffet to keep things interesting so we are definitely looking forward to going back to see what else there is to try. You must try this place!
Went there for a 50th birthday party. This place is at the end of cul-de-sac, right across Best Buy. It was very spacious with a great layout. The party decorations made it look really beautiful. Music system was fantastic. But the BEST part was the food - appetizers were perfectly sized and truly delicious; the main course items were plenty and great; and the desserts yummy. Bar was busy throughout the evening, and they did not disappoint. I will go back for the aloo tikki, and malai kofta for sure.
The food was great and the staff were very friendly. This place has a really large banquet area as well, good for parties. Will be returning, for sure.
The best Indian dish I have ever had, and it was on the lunch buffet! I think it was the saag or palak. They made fresh and delicious garlic naan and the rest was great too! Gulab jamun was slightly over cooked, but all in this restaurant was amazing! 5 Stars!
Story time: 3-year anniversary night. Had reservations at a fancy restaurant. Those were a joke. Proceeded to 4 other restaurants to try to save the night out. No luck. We remember there's an Indian spot right by the new apt... Now, we arrive at Bombay. There's a special event going on, but there's a table for 2. We get seated right away. Because of the special event, we understood the kitchen would be booked. But luckily the event had a wonderful R&B band we could watch in the meantime. Food came and we were in heaven. I got the Lamb Vindaloo, extra spicy. The bf got the vegetarian Eggplant dish, spicy and also beautiful. We also ordered soups and some bread, very good!! The food was incredible. The spicy was actually spicy! (Like an 7/10; 10 being Pepper X). So yes, go here! The staff are awesome and the food is incredible!
Awesome food with beautiful location, one of the best restaurants in Southern California. Great hospitality too !!!
