Wonderful weekend lunch buffet with many favorite dishes. Multiple vegetarian options as well. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. I also really like the atmosphere. It's a bit different in a good way. It's a very charming place and the music played sets a very cheerful relaxing vibe. Can't wait to return!

Food was terrific. Good atmosphere. Staff so very pleasant. Definitely the buffet if you want a quick meal. I ordered off the menu. Generous portions. Took 1/2 home. I will be back

Update 4 months later: This place never fails! It is delicious and fresh always! The veggie korma is my favorite, you will not miss meat with any of their vegetarian options!! Love love love! I got to try their vegetarian chili momos this time around and they were so sweet and spicy and a ball of deliciousness!! This place has best Nepalese and Indian buffet! I love their chow mein, and the freshness of all of their dishes. I always make a point to take a picture of my full plate so I can make a review, but it’s so good I forget to! Amazing atmosphere and kind servers.

This place has EASILY the best Nepali and Indian food in Lexington! If you have celiac or gluten allergy, this place offers many great options that are trustworthy and labeled on the menu. I ordered a two person combo meal for around $50-$55 and I had enough leftovers for another meal. The decor and music are.. interesting but they really create a fun vibe and it's a great experience. Service and food, as expected, are fantastic.

This was my first time here, and I'm sad I just now tried it! It's wonderful. Absolutely the best Indian food in Lexington. The portions actually come with a lot of meat/cheese unlike many other places in town. The service was friendly and helpful. I will be back, and this will be my new recommendation for Indian food. I had the saag paneer, and it was delicious. Also the spice levels are accurate.

I was not prepared to find the best Nepalese and Indian food of my life in Lexington, Kentucky. Grishna was a great hostess, and was fun to chat with about spice levels and travel. She also introduced me to possibly my new favorite pickle to enjoy with papadam at home! This spot might not look like a lot from the outside, but the owners clearly cherish their space and all who visit; Walking in is like being transported to another country. Beautiful decor and stylish furniture; I would love to have a big family gathering or celebration here! I'm visiting from Seattle for work, and found Everest via Happy Cow (an app that directs vegetarians and vegans to food, mostly while traveling in my experience), and saw that they had a huge vegetarian selection, including one of my Favorite things: Thalis!! I started with a mango lassi that was like sipping sunshine (with the perfect amount of turmeric), crunchy vegetable pakoras dusted with tangy anchur, accompanied by the traditional green mint, as well as tamarind sauce. The sauces were both so vibrant in flavor and appearance, I'm sure they were made earlier today. And then, the thali...I am still reeling from how good this was. Everything had extremely well balanced flavors, and a spice level of 3/5 was *perfect* for me. Thalis are a favorite because they're a little bit of everything: Crisp, bright, salad, bold savory lentils, tender spiced potatoes, perfectly fluffy jasmine rice, tangy pickle, a broccoli and cauliflower curry, crunchy papadam, and sweet gulag jamun steeped in heavenly cardamom syrup... you name it, this was absolutely perfect. The contrast was just superb. My one regret was tackling this alone, but now I have the best leftover vegetarian breakfast waiting for me! Thanks again, Grishna!

My friend and I have been looking for an authentic Indian food restaurant for YEARS. Everest has an extensive menu, and I have branched out to this restaurant twice. These have been two of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Lexington. The first time my friend and I came, we were greeted, helped out with on the menu, and left full and happy. Tonight, we came again (about a month has passed) and we were greeted by the same waitress who ended up remembering our brief visit. The food is amazing. Butter chicken and chicken tiki masala are the two menu items I’ve had. They offer a range of spice levels, perfect for any pallet. Also 10/10 would recommend getting an order of garlic naan to pair with anything!
