I’ve been coming to sapthagiri/vaibhav regularly, and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making every visit a great experience. Whether it’s my favorite dish (sapthagiri thali, goan shrimp curry, buttermilk) or something new from the menu(fish fry), everything is consistently delicious. This place has truly become one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!
We organized a baby shower + birthday celebration here and it was perfect! Anirudh and Krishna were able to help us identify the right items from the menu, and recommend the right layout for seating. We hosted 30 guests, but the space could fit in 50+ easily. The space is well lit with a good setup, so didn't need a.lot of decoration on our part to spruce it up. The food is perfect and the guests all raved about it. Pricing for the food and venue seemed fair as well. Definitely recommend this place, both as a restaurant, and as a venue for events. It's definitely one of the better looking spaces in the area!
Food is always amazing, great portions, kind people, nice seats in the back
We hosted an event at Vaibhav and it was such a pleasant experience. The whole process of organizing the event was smooth. On the day of, the food was fantastic and everyone on the Vaibhav team was exceptionally kind, polite and always available to help. Definitely recommend them!
SAFE review Service: Was great. We were able to sit without too much wait, surely because of Covid. They gave enough time to review the menu, food came timely and we were frequently checked on to see if we wanted anything. The only glitch being that they served the food before we had plates and they apologized for the same. The water was a small bottle, and that felt stingy. Ambience: This is a two-in-one restaurant. Sapthagiri serves vegetarian and Vaibhav with same entrance but a different seating area serves non-vegetarian food. Sapthagiri is plain in its look and feel, while Vaibhav is more classy with a banquet hall doubling fit for dining room. Food: was delicious. The idli, masala dosa and medu vada were very delicious; the sambhar and coconut chutney that came with it took me back to Kerala - enjoyed it. The Chicken Tikka Masala was really good, while the mutton (goat) biriyani was delicious. Ford desserts we had bread pudding (double ka meetha) and rice pudding (kheer) - both failed to meet expectations, and was disappointing. We saw the platter on the menu after we ordered, but would try that next that. Experience: over all was great. I wouldn't say that most authentic Indian food, but ranks up in list of those I have had recently. Will definitely recommend and surely visit again. The menu was too big and very overwhelming.
What a great experience very authentic Indian punjabi food. There are so many vegetarian options. You can also ask cook to change the food the way you want to eat. We don't eat Onions & Garlic so they made it without and still test was awesome.
Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have authentic Indian food in NJ. Great food and great staff. Really enjoyed my meal :)
