Such a quaint place for some great vegetarian food! I’ve been here a few times but never eaten in. They have a cute courtyard out back that is so soothing to sit and eat. The food is great too! They change their menu, so you never know what you’ll get, but they’ll taste amazing. And it’s all vegetarian!
Wow what a vibe. Located inside of a Hundu Church? The people were very welcoming, art and food was a nice treat. This place is for you if you are vegetarian! There Tamarind drink is tasty. They have a revolving menu. Parking is hard to find so try to come during lunch time!
The atmosphere was welcoming. I was timid about entering since I didn’t know the restaurant is inside the Hindu temple, and I had never been in one. Each dish was amazing and the flavors exploded in my mouth. The food is real natural, fresh, authentic vegetarian Indian food. The tamarind tea/lemonade was my favorite. It is the color of sweet tea, but taste like a rich bold lemonade. The dining area was also beautiful a mixture of indoor and outdoor with strong appreciation for nature Definitely coming to Kalachandji’s again.
Best vegetarian restaurant in Dallas. Buffet style inside a Krishna Temple. It's not a place for children running around or obnoxious teenagers. This is a great spot for a date or people who enjoy a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. While yo do hear the beautiful sounds coming from the temple, nothing is too loud, and people use their indoor voices. It's worth trying at least once. Nothing but peace and love. I've been coming here for 16 years.
Have been eating here since the 80's. Many changes throughout the years, but the food has remained excellent. The courtyard is wonderful for an evening meal. The food is always fresh, hot, and amazing.
Great place… straightforward sweet people, simple Indian vegetarian menu medium spiced. For anyone wanting to get started on Indian food or vegetarian food this place would be a good start. Nice but small courtyard seating. Plenty of parking. Good atmosphere, divine vibes, peaceful neighborhood overall.
Discovered this hidden gem while we were in search of a pure vegetarian place nearby. The food is too good to be true, Tastes very homelike and can satisfy your soul for sure. You might have limited options to choose from but the food quality and taste you get for the price is very worth it. Desert tastes good too and the whole ambience of the place is very nice and feels peaceful. The only bad side is their washroom. Being located inside the temple itself having such a dirty washroom was a small downside. Overall a 5/5 experience. Definitely must go place for vegetarians.
