Walking into Spice Social, you immediately get the feeling that this is not your typical Indian restaurant. The interior is modern yet cozy — think warm wood accents, exposed brick, stylish lighting, and a few artistic touches like a dramatic elephant portrait. It manages to balance a lively bar vibe with a family-friendly dining space, perfect for casual dinners or catching a game on one of the many TVs. The bar is serious business here. Rows of wine bottles, a great selection of craft beers on tap, and an impressive lineup of Indian beers you don’t often find — Taj Mahal, Haywards 5000, Old Monk 10000 Super Beer, Flying Horse, and more. Definitely a paradise if you’re looking to pair authentic Indian flavors with a cold, bold brew. Now onto the food — and wow. I ordered a classic setup: a rich, fragrant chicken marsala curry , a bowl of fluffy basmati rice, and a basket of freshly baked naan. The curry was hearty, deeply spiced without being overwhelming, and had that slow-cooked depth you dream about. The naan was warm, soft, with just the right char, perfect for scooping every last bit of sauce. Fresh cilantro and pickled onions on top added a nice finishing touch. Service was friendly and low-key, giving you space to enjoy your meal but always nearby if needed. Highlights: • Excellent Indian beer selection • Modern, welcoming decor • Authentic, flavorful food • Relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere Minor nitpick: • The music/video on the TVs was a bit eclectic — Indian mythology animations next to NFL games can be a little distracting if you’re hoping for a quiet meal. Verdict: If you’re looking for a modern take on an Indian bar and grill without losing the authentic soul of the cuisine, Spice Social nails it. I’ll definitely be back for the beers, the vibe, and especially that curry. Rating: 4.5/5
Excellent indian restaurant. We are a big party of 18 folks that dropped on a non weekend day. They were very gracious to host us, though we came in at an odd hour. We tried Manny items, as you can tell from the attached pictures. We liked each and every one of the items we tried. Enjoyed the food, the wonderful service and the ambience very much. The fried rice is a little salty and that's the only lowest point out of all the dishes. Avacado Bhel is about average and made it a little better by adding sweet chutney. We loved the Jalapeno Kulcha and reordered but that didn't come the way we asked. I guess the time of the day and the rush made it that way. The chicken dishes tasted good but apparently felt undercooked - as told by others in my party. Overall we enjoyed the food here.
We picked up Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken with some garlic Naan and spice fries. All were delicious! Will be returning.
amazing food and really awesome taste!! loved every bit of appetizers to main course to drinks some options were not available but rest fall in place atmosphere is nice, quality is good and service was great there is enough parking outside and on back side of restaurant must try biryani !!
My friend and I tried this spot on one of our weekly dinners. We had no idea this place existed for 3 years and she's lived in Fullerton her entire life. The food was phenomenal. We both like Indian food and their flavors but usually find that the spices can be overwhelming sometimes and we can only have it every once in a while. This restaurant's food was stellar and even the leftovers were enjoyed cold the next day. We ordered: Cheese & jalapeño kulcha - basically like a jalapeño cheese quesadilla. Vada pav - mashed potatoes cakes fried and sandwiches between buns and chutney. Fries surprisingly good, very well-seasoned. Samosa chaat - smashed samosa smothered in chickpeas, cumin tempered yogurt and a tamarind glaze that was tart and sweet and just a whole bunch of flavors but was a pleasant mix. Orgy in the mouth. Desi Gohbi Manchurian - battered fried cauliflower and tossed in a tangy, sweet, savory sauce. Kadhai chicken - tossed with onions and bell pepper, tomato curry. Malai kofta - fried balls of potato and panner in a creamy mild sauce. Butter and garlic naan Pineapple delight Watermelon cooler I don't think you can go wrong here!
I loved the food here. One of the best indian restaurant. Perfect flavor, taste, desi tadka. People visiting Disney California much try this. Thank you for serving best Indian food.
Good food and cool vibe, I liked this place a lot. I had the paneer tikka masala with 2 rotis, enough to fill me up.
