The best Indian food and staff in the world. Josie has done an incredible job with this restaurant and I can’t recommend the taste and portions of this restaurant. Excellent service and all around atmosphere!
Great vegetarian food like Udipi specials, poriyal, paneer chili and naan! I recommend Coromandel cuisine of India in Orange, CT for their delicious variety of Indian Vegetarian dishes!
Coromandel Darien serves the food of your dreams…fresh ingredients, outstanding flavor, with excellent service. I have been here a few times and every visit is flavor heaven. I cannot stop exclaiming about the dishes multiple times throughout the meal because it’s just THAT good. I’m Indian, and highly discerning when it comes to Indian restaurants. This may be the best Indian restaurant I have encountered. It’s a small space, 2 rooms and a table up front because they clearly do a bustling take out business. But it is always busy inside too, because if you know, you know. It is a bit pricey but you are paying for such high quality that it is absolutely worth it. Everything is made from scratch that same day. There is nothing like this restaurant and their delectable food. I will continue dreaming of it until next time.
This restaurant is excellent! I used to eat at Coromandel in Stamford, but unfortunately, it closed. I’m happy there’s one not too far away in Darien. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh from the lunch menu and added naan. Everything was delicious, and the portions were perfect for lunch. The staff is very friendly, helping to describe the different dishes and providing great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I highly recommend this place!
Used to go here years ago for the Sunday buffet because you could try different things but happened to be in the area again so we decided to stop in and glad we did. Menu is huge, so many things on the menu then other Indian restaurants we have been to. Forgive my spelling! Lasuni Gobi was amazing, I’d eat this everyday Chicken tikka masala was juicy and more on the tomato side. Sauce was sweet as well. We got organic chicken and the chunks were huge. Rice is rice but they gave you a decent amount. Ragda patty’s was huge as well. Sweet and spicy. Garlic naan was fresh and delicious Kheer was delicious as well. Pistachios was a nice add but maybe to much. Overall I’d get it again just the way it was. Staff is super attentive and friendly and presentation is top notch. We will be back again very soon.
Absolutely love the food here! One of the best places in CT to eat Indian food. Authentic Indian food. The spice levels are perfect. The staff are very friendly. Its totally worth the price! Highly recommended. The papad with the mango chutney and green chutney were so delicious! The shaamsavera was brilliant. Portions are very generous.
. **Incredible Catering Experience!** "We recently ordered catering for a family gathering from Coromandel, and it was a huge hit! The variety of dishes was impressive, and everything . **Surprising Vegan Options!** "As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of options available at Coromandel! The chana masala and vegetable korma were both delicious and flavorful. The staff was knowledgeable about vegan choices, making it easy to enjoy a wonderful meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more!"
