We visited The Dhaba and both ordered chicken curry, but they accidentally brought us lamb instead. After we gave them feedback, they kindly brought us the correct chicken curry — great customer service! We also added garlic naan on the side, which was soft and flavorful. Everything we ordered was really delicious. Would definitely come back for more!
I was in the area, and happened across this lovely restaurant. I thought it was the Los Amigos Market. Lol. Vijay was My Waiter, who had a brimming smile! I have never tried a place like this before. I was pleasantly happy with my good luck if coming here. I came in for just a drink, which i had the masala chai. It was tasty with some added sugar. The dipping sauce with the bread that was at my table when I was seated was quite delicious in flavor! Each had a spice level to it, which cleared up my chest congestion. Lol. The tarin sauce was sweet & spicy. The green one was a lil too much for me. I think its the mint. The red one WAS MY FAVORITE!!! It is just tomatoes with fried red chile. I would definitely recommend for A New Experience! The music by the way. Straight vibes!!! Thank You Vinay! 😉
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A True Gem for Punjabi Food Lovers! I recently visited a Punjabi restaurant in Tempe, Arizona, and I must say—it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and incredible hospitality. The service was top-notch, and I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner and their wonderful family, who are clearly passionate about sharing their authentic flavors with the community. Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the chaat, and WOW—it was absolutely phenomenal! Every bite was bursting with vibrant flavors, the perfect balance of spices, and that authentic street food charm that’s hard to find outside India. You could tell it was made with love and attention to detail. The ambiance added to the experience, making it feel like a slice of Punjab right here in Tempe. If you’re looking for incredible food, genuine service, and a place that feels like home, this is the spot to visit. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes!
I had the Paneer Tikka Masala - was Smooth, creamy, did a 5 spicy and perfect heat where you can still taste the flavors. Hot temperature wise! The Paneer is the right chewyness and light. It is small and quaint, seats it looks like 42. Love the Indian music! Moves my body and soul! 🎵🎶 Very attentive staff! Every beautiful soul kept asking if I needed anything more and continually filled my water. I was the 1st customer and shortly after, the seats were filling up! Starter-bread and in-house made sauces - tamarind, chutney and red hot sauce Complimentary desert. Loved the ambiance! The hospitality is over the moon! I felt right at home and welcomed! Excited to expand my tastebuds with other menu items! Must have Indian white wine sula chenin Blanc! Light and Complimentary to the Masala. The menu suggests wines that pair nicely with each menu selection. My server was very attentive, asked questions and very helpful in explaining everything!
This was my 8th time dining at The Dhaba, and it continues to impress. The food is consistently flavorful, with dishes like samosas, chole bhature, chicken biryani, lamb korma, and chicken tikka masala standing out. A common misconception is that Indian food is always extremely spicy, but The Dhaba offers a clear spice-level system. For those unfamiliar with spice, 0-3 is a good range. Regular spice lovers might prefer 4-5, while those who enjoy jalapeños with seeds may go for 6-7. For a real challenge, 8-10 is available. Big thanks to Vinnay for providing great service for the 2nd time and to the chefs for maintaining consistency in their dishes. The Dhaba is a solid choice for Indian cuisine in Tempe.
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious—full of rich flavors and perfectly spiced. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in town! Can’t wait to come back.
Really nice place for indian panjabi food. Other places claims the authenticity but this place delivers that. Also the staff is friendly and the food was made fresh.
