Taco Mahal is a wonderful place to enjoy a good meal. The tacos are always fresh and full of flavor, with a nice variety to choose from—whether you prefer lamb, chicken, or something a little different. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I’ve been here multiple times. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping by for a great bite to eat.
Best vegetarian food in New York City. Love it. If you are pure vegetarian go for cheese garlic naan and panner tikkaaa. You will fall in love with the food. Especially location is so close to time square and so easily accessible to all the su away stations. Love the ambiance. The Punjabi songs feels like cheery on top of the cake.
Super good, got the naan taco with butter chicken. Yummy, authentic, cream cheese super good too, definitely worth it. Also getting the samosa, the butter chicken was super authentic and prices were good. Cannot wait to come back, I’m also an LA local so im not sure how authentic that can all be. My Indian bf loved it.
Great quick meal before watching a broadway show. Love the Mexican/indian fusion idea! There were 3 of us and We ordered the $18 meals and it was too much food for us as the portion sizes are very large. The chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala were excellent. The chicken malai kabob gravy was very good and unique. The onion pakora were large and tasted great! Masala fries were ok. The items probably taste the best if you eat it right away in the restaurant as it can get soggy with all of the gravy. Might try the roti tacos next time!
Wow. Food is incredible. The Naan taco is a winner. Quaint atmosphere- not a ton of seating, but it was very fun on a trip to the city. Would come back for sure! Also don't miss the samosa chaat as a side. Unsung hero!
I recently visited [Restaurant Name], a unique Indian eatery that puts a creative spin on traditional flavors by serving taco-style naan bread. The fusion concept is both innovative and delicious, with soft, freshly baked naan folded around a variety of flavorful fillings, from classic butter chicken to spiced paneer and tangy chutneys. Each bite perfectly balances Indian spices with the handheld convenience of a taco, making it a fun and satisfying meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff eager to recommend the best combinations. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or looking for something new, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
This was my first time dining here after receiving high recommendations from content creators at Devour List, and it did not disappoint at all. I chose the Chana Masala Basmati Bowl and a Mango Lassi—both were incredible. The bowls are typically priced at $15, depending on whether you choose a meat or veggie option. The spice level is quite high, so keep that in mind if you're not good with spicy food. I have a high spice tolerance since I'm half Sri Lankan. The food was served fresh and quickly by the friendly server. It’s the perfect combination of healthy and affordable!
