My husband and I went here for dinner before catching a broadway (on tour) show at the Blaisdell. We got the palak paneer, chana masala, and plain naan—everything was so good!! Lots of vegetarian options (which I really appreciate), servers were kind and attentive, didn’t wait very long for our food, and we enjoyed the casual atmosphere of the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend
This is my second time dining at Spice Up. Both times were good experience. There's a lot of selection on the menu with descriptions on what the dishes are. I don't actually remember what we ordered the last time except that we really love the garlic Naan. This time I wanted to try the mulligatawny soup and I really enjoyed it with the papadum. We also ordered lamb curry, lamb boti kebab and garlic cheese Naan. The lamb curry was spicy but taste great, the spiciness made it more appetizing. The naan was really good again. Just a little bit disappointed with the kebab, there was hardly any taste but good thing they gave 2 different chutney and that made it better. Overall we were very full and satisfied. Definitely coming back again.
It is my 4th time here in hawaii. I love coming to eat at this restaurant every time! The staff are very friendly and take the time for the customers. They also have the world's best butter chicken dish! I have tried it at many Indian restaurants around the world but nothing comes close to this one!
We showed up right at the cessation of lunch service on a Saturday. They kept the kitchen open Food was excellent. Service is also excellent.
This place has become our to go or to take out place for Indian food in Honolulu. Everything taste freshly made food. Vegetarian friendly place as I was doing 2weeks Vegetarian. Good friendly service and spacious dining space with lots of space in between. On this day we tried only Vegetarian dishes but their house special green chicken is wonderful to try.
North Indian / Nepalese food. Cooked with all the subtle spices that one misses a lot of the time. Wide ranging menu for all tests. Service was good. The staff are incredibly friendly & will volunteer their personal favorites. With going to again and again.
I recently dined at spice up in king street, and the experience was outstanding! The food was delicious, with rich flavours that transported me straight to India. However, what truly made the evening special was our server. They were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. Their warm and friendly behaviour added a personal touch to our dining experience. I highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine and exceptional service!
