They serve the best donne biriyani. The Avarekalu biriyani too me back to the flavors of our life in Bangalore. Their chilly chicken is a staple! We want to go and try more from the menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Team Badoota to bring the slice of Bangalore to Austin!

Okay, second review today, and last thing on my Austin list – Badoota. It was super convenient, right next to BTR where I had breakfast. Grabbed some Mutton and Chicken Donne Biriyani after. I was stuffed from the idlis and dosas at BTR, figured I'd save the biryani, but the smell in the car was insane – couldn't resist! So, the taste? The mutton biryani? Each grain of rice was coated in yummy mutton fat, perfectly separated. Total Bengaluru style! The chicken biryani? I was happy with the mutton, but my wife loved it – she was speechless for a minute, just kept eating. Need I say more? Bucket list done! BTR ✅️ Badoota ✅️

We loved the Donne Biryani. It was very authentic, just like what we had in Bangalore. This place is a cloud kitchen, not a proper restaurant, but they do have a dining area!

Had a great meal at Badoota! The biryanis were especially impressive—not spicy, but every grain of rice was packed with consistent, rich flavor. The ghee roast was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of richness.

If you’re a fan of bold, authentic South Indian flavors, you have to try this place! Their Donne Biryani is an absolute game-changer—aromatic, perfectly spiced, and served the traditional way. Every bite is packed with rich, comforting flavors that scream Karnataka! And it’s not just the biryani—their entire menu is a treat, from flavorful curries to classic South Indian dishes that taste just like home. The vibe is warm, the food is top-notch, and trust me, you’ll be coming back for more. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

I just had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, Their mutton biryani and chicken kebabs were nothing short of exceptional — a true showcase of authentic Indian flavors made completely from scratch. The mutton biryani was deeply aromatic, with perfectly cooked rice with tender, flavorful mutton that practically melted in my mouth. Every bite was infused with the richness of whole spices — cinnamon, cloves — and the slow-cooked depth that only comes from time, care, and a deep knowledge of traditional cooking methods. The balance of heat and savory warmth was spot on, leaving that satisfying hum of spice on my palate without overwhelming it. As for the chicken kebabs — wow. Juicy, smoky, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly marinated, with that unmistakable blend of yogurt, ginger, garlic, and spices that hits all the right notes. It was cooked to perfection — crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside. The char added a lovely depth, and you could tell it was freshly grilled, not reheated or premade. But beyond the incredible food, there’s something really special about knowing this meal came from a local couple who clearly take pride in what they do. You can taste the authenticity, the tradition, and the love they put into their craft. It wasn’t just dinner — it was an experience. I’ll absolutely be returning, and I recommend anyone who loves real Indian food (or wants to try it done right) to check them out!
