This place is amazing! The buffet has a wide variety of delicious dishes—my favorites were the Chicken Masala, Vindaloo, Paneer Pakoras, Tandoori Chicken, Saag Paneer, Goat Biryani, and garlic naan. I love that the naan is on the buffet line so you can help yourself—super convenient! The restaurant is clean, with cozy dim lighting, soft instrumental music, and TVs showing peaceful natural scenery—a really nice touch. The staff is friendly and professional. Great food, great vibes—I highly recommend The Lion Indian Cuisine Restaurant!
My daughter wanted curry for her 16th birthday lunch so we tried the Lion’s buffet for lunch today. It was all lovely, fresh, delicious and a really good value for so many people. The samoosa’s, pakora’s and naan were refreshed frequently so they were hot and perfect. The service and atmosphere were great too. Next time I’m coming back for the curried prawns!
This place is definitely my favorite Indian food restaurant in all of San Antonio. The staff is the most professional and nicest people you met and the food selection is great! I always go for the lunch buffet since the prices are very affordable and the food is just so amazing! The food is always hot and fresh when on the buffet section and I have never seen it run out for more than a few minutes if at all. Overall my experience was very positive and keeps me coming back every other week!
The flavors of the Indian lunch buffet were some of the best I've ever had. The food was hot, grilled chicken was juicy, and the goat curry was so tender and flavorful. All the dishes were fresh, hot, and so much better than I have had at other places. Keep up the great service and tastes! Glad you guys are in the area and doing Lunch & Dinner BUFFET now! Also, we were glad we asked for the spicy sauce; it was perfect with the meatballs. Ty much and we will be back soon for more (mango pudding)! 🤤 Halal food.
My wife and I found this gem in nw San Antonio! Fresh buffet fresh naan bread. The garlic naan was fire(good)! Customer service was great. The restaurant was a vibe coming back
Perfect little taste of indian tucked away. Delicious food, not too spicy. The owner is great. Staff are friendly. Prices are average compared to other Indian places around town. Love the atmosphere. Its very calming.
