You can already smell the spices when entering the tastefully decorated restaurant (greeted with a smile by the attentive staff). We just had appetizers - Samosa Chaat, Bombay Brussels, Pepper Fry Lamb - and Garlic Naan. It was great. We've enjoyed it a lot and will definitely be back for more.
I chose this as my birthday meal. I have been living in Tampa Bay four years and have not had a proper Indian dining experience. That ended today! walking in we were greeted by the staff, welcoming and kind.Cliche as it sounds coming from a melting pot of new york city we have our fair share of Indian restaurants so i was hoping to have a solid meal. This was LEAPS and BOUNDS the most amazing Indian meal I've had. It easily reminded me of my childhood friends family's cooking. My family enjoyed it too. From start to finish the staff was attentive and on top of making sure we had a great dining experience. What a way to end my birthday!! we will make sure to come back again!
Most Excellent Indian cuisine that I have ever tasted. The food is fresh and authentic and very reasonably priced. Also, the Masala soda is a beautiful compliment to any of their dishes. Great service!
We came to try Lajawab for the first time and immediately jumped to our favorite Indian restaurant in the area! A must try. The food was so flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the restaurant was very clean, cozy, and the service was great. We got the Samosa and Chili Gobi to start (must try), followed by Tabdoori Wings which fell off the bond and had such a nice char to them. Was really impressed with all the starters. For dinner we got Chicken Korma and Malai Chicken. Thought we would have leftovers but it was too good we ate everything! Could not recommend enough and can’t wait to be back! Very welcomed addition to our wonderful St. Pete food scene.
Food was absolutely amazing, staff was friendly, and restaurant itself looked great. Chili garlic lamb chops were SO good, the rosemary cream cheese naan was a unique yummy try
Dinner was excellent. Very flavorful and delicious Indian. The Chettinand has such great flavors and seasoning. The samoas had just the right amount of spice. Service was great. Food came in good time. Can’t wait to go back and try more.
I don’t know what type of awesomeness is going on in their kitchen but This food is absolutely, undeniably, phenomenal!!! Extremely flavorful. Like seriously… they are my new favorite Indian restaurant. Hands down! I’m so glad we found them.
