The restaurant is relatively new but the staff and cook seem to be veterans in food business. My family and I had a great experience. The food , quality and price are a great balance . We could choose spice level as per our preferences . Gluten free options also available. Comes with ample parking . Food is authentic .
Before we are leaving here after dinner, we agreed we had to write reviews because we are so blown away. We have never done this before..sat across one another just writing reviews for a place we’re currently at. We’ve been together for over 5 years, and are complete FOODIES, so this means a lot. The staff is very kind, talked with our children which our daughters thought was so sweet, chatted with us and explained menu items we had questions about. Everything we ordered here was better than our top favorite Indian restaurants. I even ordered another entree to go, even though I had plenty of leftovers to take home from my dinner lol. We found out this place is new, I hope this restaurant thrives and succeeds! This is now without hesitation our go to place! The prices are amazing, the portions are amazing, we were treated with kindness, very spacious inside AND they are open until 1am! I’m pretty sure the gentleman that was talking with us was possibly the owner, he was such a pleasure to chat with. I already can’t wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow and I can’t wait to come back. Best way to end our family’s Valentine’s Day, they had hearts hanging from the ceiling too that was so sweet. I have fallen in love with this place, love at first visit.
I stopped for late night dinner, I visited from LA, I ordered Lamb curry, naan and egg dish etc…. All the dishes were authentic and wonderful.I traveled over the world and RASOI is the best Indian cuisine I ever ate. Absolutely best Indian restaurant in Austin!!! I’ll definitely come back!!!
Great food, attentive service, cozy family diner type atmosphere. Husband and I got the chili paneer and rosemary garlic naan. He got the mixed grill and I got the grilled pomfret fish. The fish and the mix grill both came out sizzling and fragrant. His grill was good. The naan and chili paneer were great, and my grilled fish was amazing! We ordered spice level 3, but I will probably go up to 5 next time. 3 was super flavorful, but not a lot of heat-spice. Will definitely be back again! (seriously, get that grilled fish!) Update: came back again and ordered the kadai shrimp at spice level 4 and it was absolute perfection! ❤️🔥
I got the sizzler plate and I was surprised how much chicken it was, which was amazing! The garlic naan was great too. The picture is just my leftovers! (With some of my friends food which was also very good)
Good portions and quality for the price. The Vijayawada chicken biryani was tasty with a decent amount of moist, savory chicken.
Amazing food quality at a very reasonable price! I had the 65 gobi spicy cauliflower and the chicken korma and both were first rate. Came out quickly, very generous portions. Very nice and attentive service. The lights were quite bright so I took a point off there but definitely our new favorite Indian food restaurant!! Looks like they do a lot of takeout service.
