A Culinary Gem in Pennsylvania - A Must-Visit! As owners of Spicy Lanka in New York, we have a deep appreciation for authentic and flavorful cuisine. Our recent visit to this Pennsylvania gem was nothing short of exceptional, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality and care evident in every dish. Our children, usually picky eaters, devoured the butter chicken with naan and the dosa. What struck us immediately about the dosa was its distinct, beautifully fermented flavor – a welcome departure from the often commercialized versions we encounter. The kids absolutely loved it, a testament to its genuine taste. For us, the standout was a goat dish from the appetizer menu, which we requested spicy. The explosion of flavors and the expertly balanced spices were truly mouthwatering. It was the kind of dish that leaves a lasting impression and has you craving more. To top it off, the fresh watermelon juice tasted as if it had been squeezed on a bustling street in India – pure, refreshing, and bursting with natural sweetness. Hats off to the chef and owners! Your passion for authentic flavors shines through in every bite. We were so impressed that we've already decided we'll be back for that incredible goat dish before heading back to New York. This will undoubtedly be our go-to spot whenever our travels bring us to Pottstown. Keep up the fantastic work!
I had the pleasure of experiencing Hyderabad Dum Biryani at Manam, crafted by Chef Haja, and it was truly exceptional. The long-grain rice was perfectly cooked, with each grain intact, while the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, absorbing the rich spices beautifully. The flavorful aroma and perfectly balanced spice level made every bite a delightful experience, leaving a lasting impression of authentic Hyderabadi taste.
We had our daughter’s very first birthday party here. Amar and his staff provided excellent service and the food was delicious! Thank you for the hospitality and for making this day one to remember. One of the best Indian restaurants in Chester County hands down! Thank you
Chef Haja’s Ragi Sangati is a delightful blend of tradition and taste. This South Indian dish combines finger millet flour and rice into soft, earthy-flavored balls. Paired with a robust chicken curry, it offers a balanced and satisfying meal. The presentation is inviting, reflecting Chef Haja’s attention to detail. A must-try for those seeking authentic and comforting flavors. Chef HAJA you have magic in your hands
Walked in on a random Monday night and were blown away by the food! Their chicken 65 is drier than what we’re used to but still super flavorful! The appam with chicken curry was 10/10! Super happy with our dinner and experience.
We just had an amazing special Buffet over the weekend. I prefer veg and most restaurants in the area have boring 2-3 items such as paneer, pakota, some vegetable for vegetarians. But Manam served some authentic varieties like Karamani gravy, thoran and Mangalorean rasam. The olen and Ada Pradhamam were top notch. My wife and son loved their chicken and fish options. There are significant competitors in the area but Manam continues to be one of the best options.
One of the best Indian restaurants in malvern/exton surroundings. Quality and consistency in taste is main reason I like this restaurant. Environment is really neat and clean, very well maintained washrooms. Friendly staff and service. Menu seems pretty good, but slightly overpriced. They have kids friendly menu as well.
