The Indian Oven

I had an incredible lunch at The Indian Oven and I ordered the lamb biryani, samosas, and garlic naan and all of them were very tasty and full of flavor. Shan, our server was very helpful and suggested some Indian food to us which we never had before and the food was mind blowing. It was nice to be in the restaurant and feel welcomed by the staff as well as the environment. The Indian Oven is a great place for people who want to try out rich Indian food.

Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place. The food here is top rate! If you enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, then you can rest assured, you will enjoy your meal here. The portions are generous. The staff is friendly. Definitely recommend The Indian Oven for those who crave Indian food!

Amazing food. Very tasty and good portion size. Value for money. Food was fresh and yum. Even their curd was in large quantity and I had to order extra rice to make use of it. Really worth the stop.

Delicious 😋 nice staff and fast service

I ate here, everyone was really nice. Food is great, and large portions. Smells like a normal Indian restaurant to me(after reading a review about smell) reasonably priced. I got the lb biryani, chili chicken, and julab jamun.

I’ve been living on East side for the past year and there isn’t much Indian food here, Indian Oven is close by and in my opinion one of the best traditional Indian restaurants in Bakersfield when it comes to food, staff and overall environment. The take out experience is awesome food is ready pretty fast. Dine in is also fantastic with family the serving staff is really friendly !

Oh man! I'm so full right now but it was literally the best Indian food I've had. The chicken Tikka is the bomb, their mango lassi!!!!! Common man... The garlic naan is fire and ummm the portions are huge. Drivers if your tired of subway and all the other junk, come n get it!
