It was our first time visiting this place and we are so glad that there is finally a restaurant in NY only dedicated to chaaps. The variety is massive. We ordered malai chaap, tawa chaap with rumali roti, kurkure momos and masala soda. The service was very quick and portion sizes were enough for 2. Loved the creamy malai chaap and tawa chaap curry. Kurkure momos with chow mein were great but the veggie one were slightly undercooked. The green mint chutney and red spicy chutney served with it was delicious. Masala soda was cool and refreshing. The owners are friendly and prices are very reasonable. Will surely be back to try more items.
Tried this place for the first time for a quick lunch stop, it’s a totally vegetarian restaurant with main dish as chaap (soya bean) but variety of other dishes on the menu. I tried the thali which comprised of dal, paneer and chaap, with cumin rice, naan, salad and gulab jamun! Quantity was great and food was of authentic taste. Service was awesome - Tanu was very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant and restroom was kept neat and tidy. If you’re in the area for quick bite give it a try!
Best food. Which made me remember country food. We enjoyed all dishes.
So this is not a full service restaurant. You have to order at counter then sit. They'll bring the food over once prepared. We ordered masala Chaap, bhature chole and assorted Momo platter. The food quantity may not be much, but it was really good. Bhature were smaller than average. Chole were also cooked different. However, it was not bad different, just different. Masala Chaap were the best ever. The momos were also really good. I'd definitely go to this place again.
Excellent service and best food in the town. I never tried this much good food here in New York ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥food is fire.
This is a very good hole in the wall kind of restaurant. The food is really good and the service does not lag behind either. If you like momos don’t miss trying them. If it is the first time there ask for the assortment of momos. You will like them. I also tried a couple of the entrees and I must say they are good too. For those who don’t eat spicy food, ask and you can find the items. For those who like medium to hot, enjoy.
I literally wanna gatekeep this place that’s how good this place is the staff is amazing and the food is soo sooo good. Would definitely recommend their nutri kulcha and momos, and their mohanthal halwa💗💗💗💗
