I still remember the first time I came here. It was freezing outside, so I chose a place nearby. It feels like the Leaky Cauldron from Harry Potter—dimly lit, tucked in a basement. The menu has no pictures, and I was absolutely starving. The experience was amazing, and I loved every moment of it. The owner is incredibly energetic and kind—so full of life. I truly appreciate his introduction of the dishes. This is my favorite Indian restaurant, even more than the ones my Indian friends recommended to me. Then I came here very often. They serve warm plates, which is such a thoughtful detail! The atmosphere is also perfect—most Indian restaurants don’t have this kind of vibe. Everything here is worth trying. Every time we visit, we try something different, and we’ve never been disappointed. As a Chinese person, I never expected to love Indian food this much.

Such a cute and simple restaurant with an authentic Indian menu. Kudos to our servers for their amazing service. Specials thanks to chef for his warm hospitality. A must for all Indian food lovers.

Amazing food, great drinks, I loved the goat biryani and fish curry. Everything was so good, and you know the owner really cared about the food he serves. I don't know how to say this, the owner was sharing about the dishes to us multiple times throughout the meal in a way that was WANTED! I'd want to try some dessert and the chai next time. Indian Table is one of the most consistent restaurants I've visited in New York. Every time I have a visitor in town, I want to bring them to try! I always crave these flavors from home cooking growing up, and it's hard to find this anywhere - I was so thrilled to have stumbled upon Indian Table a few years ago. Each time we visit we try a new dish (including the appetizers) and the server, with enthusiasm, shares with us the ingredients and art of the dish. The ambience, service, and food never cease to impress and I can't wait to visit more in the future.

If you're looking for something different and delicious, this place delivers. The fusion of Indian and Portuguese cuisine is done with real creativity and care. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was warm and professional, and the patio made the whole experience even more special.

Great Indian restaurant serving Goan inspired dishes that you don’t find regularly elsewhere. I particularly enjoyed the spiced meat blend in the Portuguese Chamucas, when were light and crisp with a spicy Peri Peri sauce. The railway mutton was good but wish it had a bit more nuanced flavor and less pieces of bone

My favorite Indian restaurant in BK! The food and service are always spectacular. Their outdoor seating area is very nice in the spring/summer/fall. Recommended: - Garlic naan (must order!!) - Butter Chicken - Chicken Korma - Daal (must order!) - Their cocktails are fun and beautifully presented
