One of my absolute favorite middle-astern store in town. The owner and the girl are always helpful. They ask if I need help every time I go there. They also even offer to help take the bags to my car when I have a lot of stuff. Best service ever. They also have many Sadaf Products. And my absolute favorite, the Persian ice cream and the Lahichani Koloche!!!! The products are always fresh. I get my cucumbers often from this store too. The prices are also reasonable. During my recent visit, there was a Persian book by the counter, when I ask for the price, they gave it to me for free. Such an amazing gesture!!
Wonderful little store, the people working there are so kind and helpful. We will definitely be going there often.
This is a humble Middle Eastern grocery store but has excellent quality items and a warm wonderful welcoming owner, Rashid. He'll make you feel at home and always has a smile on his face. You can't just stop by, spend 3 minutes and leave. You need to take your time here and get to know the place. It's a small market but if you keep looking you find more and more. I used to come here when I was living in KC back in 2010. They closed the restaurant and kept the grocery store. I bought amazing quality fancy tea trays, Turkish crystal tea cups, 4 L sturdy stainless steel tea pot, gorgeous brass mortar and pestle and a lot more from here. Now I can make my coffee and tea in peace. Nowhere in the US I found orange colored cactus flower fruits except here. I love this fruit. He sells halal meats and chicken here. The produce is fresh and reasonably priced. If you haven't tried Sultan black gold drink, you should. It's a black seed, honey and ginger drink. Very interesting. The place needs renovation a little. But it's functional and has the good character the owner gives. Because quality is consistent, I come here regularly and walk out with a smile, hence the 5 stars.
I love this store great exotic selection and great customer service.
Shahrazad International Market has an amazing array of Middle Eastern goods. The aisles are pretty narrow but everything was clean and organized well. I got carrot preserves, cherry preserves, fig preserves, lupini beans, olives, and several other goods. Everything so far has been delicious and fairly inexpensive for imported items. When I visit next I want to spend more time browsing the in-house candy section. The owner(?) was also very friendly and polite and helped me to choose an appropriate cookie for an upcoming road trip. I'll be going back to Shahrazad International Market very, very soon!
Wonderful experience! I drove 21 miles to get fresh hamsi fish, my first time to try any. The fish was very cold, and I was pleased to find already cleaned. The young woman working as cashier was alone, so I told her to take care of other customers before getting my fish. Two other young men as customers were glad to wait a minute for me to get my fish. Everyone was courteous and lovely. The store was well organized, clean, and had a large selection of products. I will definitely return! I recommend this store to anyone who likes Mediterranean, Middle Eastern cuisine, you can get halal products here too. I got some goat cheese and canned Moroccan sardines. with hot pepper. Many seasonings, just a delightful place.
Great selection of Middle Eastern food and spices. The owner was extremely nice and helpful.
