We had a reservation at another spot nearby, but seeing Bhatti Indian Cuisine buzzing with energy on Diwali weekend, we decided to give it a try just five minutes before the kitchen closed—and luckily, we got a table! We ordered quickly without much thought, and every dish turned out to be incredible. From the paneer and galouti kebabs to the biryani, raita, and tandoori roti, everything was exceptional. Easily the best Indian food we’ve had in NYC!.. our phones were dead after a long day , couldn’t take food pictures 😞
Loved the food . We ordered vegetarian food , dal makhani , roti , rice , paneer tikka masala and rasmalai . Met our expectations with service and food
We came here twice on our trip when we craved Indian food and this always hits it out of the park. We tried 5 dishes and they were all incredible. Our fave would be the mixed veg but as you can see from the pictures it all looks amazing. You can’t go wrong here so I would definitely give it a go for authentic and delicious Indian food.
I head of Bhatti from Bollywood Actor “Anupam Kher”! He mentioned it being one of his favorite places in New York for India Food. Food was pure Indian and tasty. They made customization for me in the Banarsi Chat, Fresh and crisp ingredients. Best chicken malai tikka I have ever had in the US till date, must try! Butter chicken was perfectly spiced with green chili, if you eat mild ask them to make the gravy mild for your taste. Naan was good, I loved the generous amount of chicken keema in chicken kulcha. Desert was authentic, value for money deal and time. Food expectations met well! Downside for the management to note (Chef Gaurav Anand’s Team) : plates and serving bowl were chipped, no quality control is practiced for sure in the plating. I hope this changes in future visits. You are representing great food of India and very well doing justice to it. But serving it in chipped ceramic ware is not done given the high stakes at New York. Staff was cooperative and service is quiet and well managed. Make reservation for family visit. But it’s worth a visit.
Amazing indian food in Murray Hill, they have all the classics you want with amazing flavors. Love the chicken tikka masala!
Updated review! We visited last December after a long time. We had tried other restaurants in NYC and on the trip decided to come back. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious and the spices were just perfect. The saag's spices were spot on and mouth watering. The food reminded me of home cooked food. Care and attention to the spices! LOVE this place.
The staff were very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. The food was amazingly delicious. The chicken tikka masala was excellent with a slight kick. The atmosphere was nice and warming even though it was a little crowded at first. Would recommend to everyone.
