Delhi Darling

It’s about time Surf City got a new hot spot for food! Came here last Friday with my wife and the food was absolutely amazing. The waiter was very polite and had great recommendations. It was some of the best curry gravy I have ever had! We will certainly be coming back! Get there early because they may have ran out of naan.

Everything was superb! My husband and I stopped in for lunch and will be back! Our server was very friendly and helpful. Try the calamari for your appetizer! They were perfectly cooked and had a great sauce to go with! The butter chicken was delicious! The garlic naan was amazing and so was the lamb!

If you have not eaten here you must! We had never tried Indian food, not a fan of “spicy hot” food but had heard good things so wanted to support a local business! Oh my gosh! Food was AMAZING! Staff took the time to describe what the different dishes were, adjusted the “hotness” to our entrees without sacrificing the flavor and his entree suggestions were spot on!

Our family just enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Dehli Darling ! The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was delightful. Our food was beautiful in it's appearance and preparation. The flavors were so bright and vibrant, and the ingredients were fresh and aromatic. They have sodas unique to India that our teenagers enjoyed very much. The Naan was fresh and delicious, we tried two different types and they were excellent. We highly recommend, that if you enjoy Indian cuisine, or you'd like to try something new, you try Dehli Darling today !

I never leave reviews, but this place was so good I was compelled. Please go eat here and support this small family business. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Need places like this to stay in surf city for a long, long time.

Who would’ve guessed that the best Indian food in Wilmington would be right here in Surf City! My wife and I are frequent visitors and have had delicious food every time. The only thing I wish is that they’d add samosas to the menu but otherwise delicious.

We have been so excited to try our new local Indian restaurant and we finally did tonight. Needless to say, it did not disappoint! We tried a variety of dishes including the lamb, shrimp and butter chicken. Our girls (ages 4 and 7) loved the butter chicken and even got adventurous and tried the spicier lamb dish and liked it! Dishes are easy to do family style or could be enough for 1 with a little left over. As an Indian cuisine lover, I’m happy with how everything tasted and enjoyed the unique twist Delhi Darling had to offer. We were not there at a busy time and the service was wonderful and helpful in choosing dishes. My husband loves spicy food and they even exceeded his expectation when he asked for the “Indian Spicy” level. We’ll be back!
