Anarbagh Indian Restaurant

I rarely leave five star reviews, because nothing can be perfect. However, Anarbagh genuinely deserves it. From their food to their service and atmosphere, if you are a lover of Indian cuisine you must try Anarbagh. It is exquisite, and priced very well. My go-to place from now on!

We live close by and after driving by for over a year my wife and I decided to try it. Lovely!!! It's a family business and the dad/daughter combo were polite and attentive. The Food is as good as higher end Indian eateries and fair priced at $15-$19 ish. $5 for both rice and bread. Try it! We'll be back... The only downside is it's in the 7-11 parking lot and IF I were the owner I'd "frost" the lower section of the huge windows to allow light but block the view of the cars and customers constantly going in and out. This would attract a trendier, upscale crowd as it's very nice and inviting inside.

Wow, everything was just amazing. First, they happily welcomed us in. They already seemed very friendly and made us feel comfortable. We sat down and had a few questions. The waiter was very kind and explained the difference between chicken tikka( sizzler, not in sauce) and chicken tik masala( in red tomato based sauce), and other questions we had. We also got our drinks and we usually have to tell other places that we don’t want ice in our water, but they asked us first, which was very considerate of them. They also frequently checked on us and made sure we were good on water and food. We really enjoyed the food and although it’s next to a 7/11, the atmosphere and service was just so great that we forgot that we had to leave. I really enjoyed everything. Also, their bathroom is so clean!! It’s honestly one of the best experiences we had at an Indian restaurant. We even briefly talked to the servers and they were also so kind and come to find out, they are mostly family working. You can tell how sincere they are and truly want all their guests to be happy. Before we walked out, the waitress came and opened the door. We walked in with a smile and left with a smile and joy. We loved how they were considerate of all the little things and you can truly feel their sincerity when they’re working. We also asked them to take a picture of the food, which was presented so nicely on their cart. It was all great and we are definitely going back:)

Such a lovely dining experience! Friendly, kind and attentive servers. The food was delicious. Well presented, fresh flavours. We even enjoyed watching people come and go from the 7-11 with a stunning view of the observatory in the near distance- classic LA. Will definitely be coming here again!

Can’t recommend this lovely family restaurant enough. If you’re tired of begging for attention from your server at the latest trendy spot, eat here instead and enjoy the absolutely luxurious service! Great flavors and of course lots of vegetarian options. Perfect for a date night :)

I had an amazing dining experience at Anarbagh Indian Restaurant . The highlight of the evening was their delicious biryani and impeccable thanni service. The biryani was a true culinary delight. It was perfectly cooked, with fragrant spices and tender, flavorful meat. The portion size was generous, leaving me completely satisfied. I was truly impressed by the authentic taste and quality of their biryani. The Thanni service was exceptional as well. The staff was attentive and always ready to refill our glasses with refreshing beverages, ensuring we never had to ask for more. The friendly and prompt service added to the overall pleasure of the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was also delightful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a memorable evening, and I can't wait to return to Anarbagh Indian restaurants to savor their biryani and enjoy their exceptional thanni service again. Highly recommended!

I live in the neighborhood and have been meaning to try this place and it SLAPS. RUN, do not walk to Anarbagh!!! From the sweet sweet servers to the delicious food, this was a fine dining experience the whole way through. The presentation of the food was gorgeous... The beautiful plates come out on a cart and sit atop a candle to keep them warm. I got the chicken makhani (butter chicken), which had a great flavor profile, and was the perfect cozy comfort food. The naan was fluffy and perfect. I will scream this from the rooftops- this is my new go-to in the neighborhood, and it was such a tender experience to be in community with the folks running this restaurant. They’re putting their hearts into it and you can feel that. Los feliz neighbs, don’t sleep on this spot! We must protect Anarbagh at all costs. 💕
