****REVIEW ON FOOD TRUCK**** Stumbled upon the Spice It Up food truck while exploring Fairbanks. The owner is so kind and personable. We ordered a combo plate, and it was absolutely amazing. The butter chicken is the best butter chicken I’ve ever tasted. The flavors of his food are incredible This is a must try!
My husband and I tried Spice it up for the very first time and it was absolutely delicious. I called it in and it was ready in roughly 15mins. Service was great! Definitely will be back in the future to try different dishes that they offer. Update: it’s now 2024 and this gentleman went through losing his business due to a fire and still came out on top close to a year later. We went and supported his return and it was just as good as we remember. The employees were quick yet thorough and the wait wasn’t terrible either.
My friends and I had the BEST experience here! The owner and all employees were so friendly and had exceptional customer service! The food was FANTASTIC! I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. Blown away by the hospitality that Spice It Up offered us! Highly recommend!
The cauliflower rice is AMAZING!! Seriously. Better than regular rice. I know, sounds crazy but it's true!! It cost a few dollars more but it's totally worth it. The cook actually fried it up fresh. Not soggy whatsoever and full of flavor!! This is the absolute BEST food place in all of Alaska. Hands down. No competition. Friendly service, fresh and fast food and the flavor is outta this world. Pro tip: Mix your salad in with your dish. It adds the perfect crunch. I would eat here at least 4 times a week if I lived in Fairbanks. Haha
They were super friendly, loved the butter chicken and the little side salad! Can’t wait until they have naan and samosas again, I’ll be back!!
Wonderful food, large portions, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff! 10/10 for Fairbanks eats! I love the tandoori chicken and my sister loves the butter chicken!
Oh my goodness!! The food is absolutely delicious. The naan is so tasty and big enough portion. The saffron rice to die for! My husband got the chicken curry rice while I went for the butter chicken and rice. Both have a different gravy and they are lovely in flavor. Their mango lassi is a hit, I think my husband and I fought over the last one they had 😁
