I finally visited this gem of a restaurant after living in Santa Monica for 28 years now. Boy, did I miss a lot of years of enjoying this delicious Indian food. It is family owned, and we were served by Amit, the eldest son who came down from Seattle to help manage the restaurant while his parents were visiting India. He knew everything about the menu and was incredibly friendly. The restaurant set-up is simple but peaceful, and the food was delicious. Enjoy!

Best in LA that I’ve had. Couldn’t believe it but the chai is also on point. Not often I am able to order a spice that is hot enough for my palate, they delivered. They also serve no spice if you want. Thanks Govinda for the great experience!

Staff are very polite and respectful, very helpful on questions regarding on their menu. Food is absolutely delicious. I have been going here for more than five years. I do not have the kachumber image, but that was great too.

My Dad brought me here because he's been going for years. I got chicken biryani. It was a little different then what I've had before elsewhere but it was delicious. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly.

This unassuming corner restaurant is our go to for Indian food. It is the most authentic and delicious that you can find in this area. The portions are sizable and the menu is actually affordable (rare for Santa Monica). While most people order takeout, we love to dine in because the music and artwork make you feel like you have been transported to India. The staff is so kind and they always throw in extras. They are quick to offer recommendations if you want to try something new! If you have a craving for butter chicken or real homemade chai then this place is for you. Don’t get roped in to some fancy Americanized Indian restaurant! This hidden gem is waiting for you right here on pico!

Has a very warm welcome with the aroma of all the wonderful spices makes it perfect entrance. Greetings from everyone as you enter. They have DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates, Dine-in and Take out. I’ve eaten here many times over the last 20 years and the quality of service matches the food! Phenomenal!! 15 mins drive from Venice Beach 10 mins drive Santa Monica Pier. I and my wife travelling from Canada had wonderful dining experience at Tandoor India. The food was delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. Avatar Gill's service was exceptional—he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we received our orders quickly. His efficiency and warmth greatly added to our overall enjoyment. I highly recommend this restaurant!
