Best Indian food in the valley. I’ve been struggling to find food that tastes like my mom’s cooking, and this is very close! Riki’s service is stellar, he makes us feel right at home 🙏🏽
my wife & I frequent this spot quite a bit so a review is long overdue. but this place is one of our favorite Indian spots in the Valley. we've been to all the popular Canoga Park options that I won't name here and this one is probably our favorite because of the simple fact they have so many regional options to choose from. you can get quite lost looking at their menu but I recommend the 3 item Curry Combo. You get tons of food for $15 and can sample 3 of their curries. I always get a different set of 3 every time. comes with some pickled veggies, yogurt, and a choice of Dal (lentil soup), rice (I love the tamarind rice) & bread (I get the tandoori roti to dip into the curry with but garlic naan is prob the most popular). and if you arent feeling Curry then try their dosa. and I always get the masala chai tea as a way to finish everything off. hats off to the Chefs here! p.s. and their little robot that serves you the food is pretty cute to watch. restaurant is also very clean in case that's a concern. Edit: forgot to add there is ample parking here as well.
This place has become my go-to for Indian food. The service was attentive, and the food was out of this world. I loved the rich and aromatic flavors of the chicken vindaloo, paired perfectly with a hot, fluffy naan. The restaurant’s ambiance is bright and inviting, with beautiful Indian decor. It’s a wonderful place to gather with friends or family for a memorable meal.
I recently visited here. I tried the Poori with Aloo Kurma and Masala Dosa, both of which were delicious and full of authentic flavors. The Poori was perfectly crispy, and the Aloo Kurma had a rich, savory taste that complemented it well. The Masala Dosa was crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful potato mixture. A special mention to Ruhi Ridhima, who provided excellent service. She was very helpful in recommending the best dishes and ensured that we had a pleasant dining experience. Her friendly and attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend tulsi for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine with great service.
Ordered a butter masala dosa on Doordash since I was craving dosas. Dosa was a bit not the right texture after being in a box and bag for so long after the delivery, but it still satisfied my dosa craving. Gulab Jamun was excellent - good texture with a pleasant nutty and flowery flavor. Nice that I was able to get just 2 instead of 3 as a combo with my dosa.
If you’re thinking about going, GO! One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. All the food was very good. I highly recommend their masala curry and their tikka fries. The place was very clean with friendly staff. But I loved the price! So affordable and big portions ! Don’t hesitate to go.
